Not used this kebab shop before, but because the one we usually use was closed, we decided to try this one. Decent shish chicken, not much taste and the salad was small and watery with NO chilli peppers. Disappointed, but hey, decent place with friendly staff.

One of the most tenderous chicken shish and lamb kofte tasted. Fresh salad with competitive prices. Highly recommend.

Ordered a huge feast for our friends and the food arrived, freshly cooked and very tasty. Absolutely stuffed because we had no choice but to smash it all!

So, this is something I've said before, the lack of a card reader at this takeaway indicates two things. First and foremost, they're tax dodgers. If I have to pay tax why don't they? Second, it's a bad business move. The amount of customers that they lose by forcing everybody to pay with cash is not worth the small expenditure to get a card reader and pay tax.

Best takeaway in In the area, have tried pretty much all of the other takeaways and their quality is nothing compared to King Chicken, their prices are slightly higher but u can taste the difference.

Ordered a combo meal 3, it arrived earlier than expected. And was just as good as I remembered when I was a young lad. The guys here are brilliant and food quality is even better than I remembered. Recommend highly, no better grub in the local area!!

Saw that they made their kebabs to order, and got the köfte kebab wrap. It was freshly cooked, hot, and delicious. Would recommend this spot if you are in the mood for an excellent kebab.

After a long, difficult and late day at work I tried my luck and ordered on-line 3 minutes before closing. I knew it was a long shot but I was ‘starving hungry’. King Chicken, AMESBURY did not let me down. 30 minutes past closing time, they delivered me the tastiest pizza and garlic bread I had ever had. Thank you for going that extra mile and providing consistently quality food and service. You have my loyalty & gratitude. Couldn’t rate these guys any higher😊 Thank you.

completely incompetent. third time our orders turned up wrong and we rarely order, it’s just always wrong regardless! Ordered a cheesy chip wrap with donor meat & a chicken Shish kebab. Driver turns up with just the wrap, she asked is it meant to be one thing? We said no, she went away and came back another half an hour later (it’s been an hour at this point) with 2 wraps. Can’t write it 🤣🤣 previously we’ve had half an order delivered and wrong things delivered. Overpriced and always delivered wrong no matter how clearly you order! 🤣 time to find a new kebabby - unfortunately not a lot of choice!

Stayed at Amesbury Travelodge for a few days to see Stonehenge ETC! Ordered food from here two evenings and was very very good! Fried Chicken was amazing and the King Kabab was even better, even my daughter LOVED IT! Shame you can't deliver to Cambridgshire! 👨‍🍳🍗😋

Food quite expensive but I think no body cares in that area anyway.. is not even that tasty so 🤷 for me is not affordable.

Arrived at King Kebab Amesbury at approximately 2248L. After entering to find they did not possess a piece of modern-day technology known as a card machine, we were notified this kebab house was cash only (it was displayed on a laminated a4 piece of paper on the desk). My friend and I subsequently scrambled our change together, and found we were 60p short of two portions of doner meat and chips (£5.90x20=£11.80, we had only £11.20). We asked for two slightly smaller portions for the total of £11.20 and were received by a patronising laugh... after having been made to feel uncomfortable by the staff, they then decided our request was fair and served accordingly. The kebab was to a good quality, and the only small piece of constructive criticism I would add is that the chilli sauce was too sweet. All-in-all the experience was let down by an unwillingness to be polite to the client. Family kebab house will be the first option in the future.

Got chicken shish kebab, it tasted good but the chicken was overcooked and quite dry, and woke up today to food poisoning! Only other thing I had was fruit and cereal so I blame the kebab.

Oh my god, we got a delivery from here tonight. Hubby got a large kofti kebab, eldest got a donner wrap, youngest got a pizza and I got a spicy veggie pizza. All of us rated it amazing. Highly recommended.

After rolling out of the Bell round the corner we popped in here for a pizza and a mixed kebab. It was all cooked to order and done really quick. The mixed kebab at £9.90 is a behemoth and must weigh about a kilo. Defo the place to go after a few beers.

Everything from a Burger, Kebab or Pizza have eaten them all from here over the years and am always happy.

I Usually get a combo 3 (chicken sandwich, portion of chips and a drink of your choice) for £7.20. I Love this meal deal, I get it often and am hardly disappointed. I enjoy it greatly. I usually get pieces of chicken and wings also to share. Again, food is delicious and tasty. Price is reasonable but I guess due to not a lot of competition prices may be slightly higher. I am from London so a meal like this can cost 1/3 less, as there are many fried chicken shops in one areas. I have also previously had a chicken shish kebab and chicken shish wrap from here which is good. This also costs around £6 which is reasonable. I recommend king chicken, I order often and am not disappointed. Staff and delivery staff friendly and I would recommend. Food usually is delivered within time limit- although I do tend to order this meal on a Thursday evening, so may be less busy than a Friday night or a weekend day. Their website is also clear and easy to use and offer 10 % off when you order from there. One thing to recommend is having a lot of water beside you after meal and during the night as food is very salty I have attached photos of the combo 3 meal and a piece of chicken below, although they are not the clearest photos or the best quality

Ordered via just eat for 1930 delivery due to family circumstances and they ignored it completely and delivered an hour early causing a huge meltdown of my children and making what should have been a stress free night VERY stressful. What's the point in asking for a specific time if the company are going to ignore it altogether.
