The Pizza Professor in Plymouth

Absolutely the best pizza in plymouth, ordered many times, and the best vegan options!! Really gutted they've closed. Miss them so much 😭💔

I have been ordering from Pizza Professor, at least once a week, for the last three years. Me and my partner are vegetarians, and the range of choices available at Pizza Professor are out of this world-- you can have BBQ base veg pizzas, spicy veg pizzas, veggie meat feast pizzas, Italian-style pizzas... and don't get me started on the cheesy chips. When my doorbell rings and the Pizza Professor van pulls up outside (with its cool Owl logo on the side of the van) my heart sings: I'm about to engage in some serious pizza perfection. I inhale the cheesy chips like a deranged beast, and dive head first into the cheesy garlic bread, complimented gorgeously by the sweet chilli and garlic mayo dips. I have eaten more pizza in my life than most people, and I can honestly say that Pizza Professor is unmatched for taste, quality, service, prices and delivery times. Godspeed You! Pizza Professor.

Great customer experience from the stuff, especially from the owner. For me it’s the best Pizza in town, and there is no other when I feel hungry!

We order for the first time from The Pizza Professor, great choice, very good pizza , the 15” pizza was huge. The delivery was fast and came in time.

Awful way of running business, kept us waiting for nearly a hour for our food just to tell us they cancelled the order. They didn’t make any attempt at all to contact us when nearby just thought they would keep us waiting for food that won’t even come.

Order from this place all the time. Best pizzas in Plymouth... usually try just a cheese when trying a new place. The dough is great and the sauce had a sharp and garlic taste.

Not been here before. Needed food to mop up the run of beers between the second and third games of the 6 Nations Super Saturday. Booked and given a collection time of 7.05pm but by 6.45 the entry had updated to say it was awaiting collection. Manic rush to pick up and get home before the cardboard box intents had cooled. Pizza cheese goes stringy if it cools or has to be microwaved. Got it home, the first pieces were just about OK, a good margarita with a modest sprinkling of peppers and mushrooms , tasty with the bottles of Bass but our second pieces were chewy and cool. Prices not bad, eg £12 for 15” including extra toppings. Would probably come back but find a way IG getting the food home oven fresh and piping hot.
