Having visited Paloma in the past and enjoyed an exceptional standard of cuisine albeit at a higher than average price, the kids organised to take us out for Mother's Day lunch and we could not believe it was the same restaurant. The highly inflated price did not match the mediocre food from a limited choice set menu. When asked if we could order something from the better menu it was declined and we were stuck with the set menu which for nearly £40.00 per head not including the inflated drinks price became an extremely costly experience which we will not be in a hurry to repeat.

Absolute Empfehlung!

The Sunday lamb roast was, cold and tough. Yorkshire pudding stale, potatoes several days old and had a HAIR COOKED INTO IT. I’ve only been once and I don’t see myself going back any time soon. If I do I won’t be eating that’s for sure. Sasha the bartender was as kind and good at her job.

Harris and Hoole is no longer here! You now go upstairs to where the clothes were and enter The Café and order on a screen! Food good but not a vast selection. Service quick and polite. The staff are super efficient and polite and attentive. Maybe some light music would help the lack of ambience. But it does the job.

Kensington Quarter is the best place for breakfast on Kensington Street. It's spacious, modern, and offers a worthy selection of various egg dishes, freshly baked bread, a wide variety of pastries, high-quality teas and coffees, and excellent service.

Dear me. This used to be a great place. This time, less so. The restaurant was empty save for one other tale so little atmosphere. There were fruit flies circulating around our table for the whole meal which was distracting and unwelcome. My request to swap the fixed meal starter for a simple salad was declined, so we ate a la carte: two simple courses and we drank five 175ml glasses of ordinary wine. The bill came to over £200. It really was not wort it.

Really nice breakfast in a nice and welcoming environment. Excellent baked goods, all fresh and fragrant. I had a cappuccino and a cinnamon bun: soft, well made, perfect to start the day with taste. Fast service even if the place was full. Prices slightly above average, but justified by the quality. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop.
