Don't order the Spaghetti Bolognese, more burnt cheese than Bolognese sauce. last i checked a good Bolognese should have a sprinkle of cheese not enough to re-sole your shoes

That's makes my order miss take 2 times I order 6 wings, 1 brest of chicken 1 small chips and garlic bread The order we got was only 4wings and 2 chips and garlic bread missing 2 wings plus breast of chicken

Asked for a chicken fillet burger meal and gave me a chicken steak then wants to argue with me on top of that no mask warn or gloves warn threw the food straight in the bin would not reccomend

I think this place has had some bad stick. People rarely leave nice reviews, and I am here to leave a good review of Beijing House. Their Singapore noodles x2 were great. Plenty of shoots, pork and Chicken. And finally i found a Chinese restaurant that serves them up correctly. Usually the sauces and powders used make Singapore noodles YELLOW. These are brown and not too spicy, but still have a kick. The chicken balls with Satay Sauce, is lovely. Basically I recommend Singapore noodles and chicken balls, to get that great feeling.

Not at all busy when we visited at 14.00 on a Friday. Bacon or sausage baps tempting but advertised as only available until 11.30. Saw someone eating a Cornish pasty only to be told that they had the last one. They did have jacket potatoes. As far as cakes were concerned there were 2 pieces of Victoria sponge, 2 of chocolate cake and 1 scone. Clearly not too many coach parties anticipated. I asked if, as it was Christmas and not at all busy, it would be possible to break the 11.30 pork curfew and was told that it would be possible to have 1 bacon bap but sausages a bridge too far it seemed. I suppose one should be grateful for very small mercies however puzzling. On the positive side they do proudly advertise cold sausages as well as ice cream for dogs. Whether I could have had one of these sausages heated and made into a hot dog I thought best not to ask. It seems to me that The National Trust really should provide a better service for its loyal members, not to mention potential future members who may well be put off signing up by such a lacklustre welcome. Take forever to answer the phone and don’t let you finish talking about a complaint without putting you on hold. Food states delivered by driver but was not given it or called by them to let us know what’s going on. Very unprofessional.
