Can't praise this amazing place enough A party of 11 we had the best evening celebrating a 60th Birthday Staff were absolutely brilliant, nothing was to much trouble and all of them worked so hard whilst remaining cheerful throughout The food was delicious as always and beautifully presented, ( as were the Rum punches and drunken monkeys ☺️) Thank you Up a Yard 🙏🙏

We arrived independently with a couple of friends, knowing that there was a coach load in , They were in another dinning room. The staff were good and service was very good, food was sufficient. The staff in dinning room work too hard, expectations are too high from their managers. We totally felt sympathetically that they work long shifts,

This was our 4th visit and we were very disappointed with our experience today. Whilst the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere and surroundings lovely as always, the food was a let down. There is no longer a Sunday carvery - replaced by a plated roast, although portions were plentiful I doubt the meats were ‘home cooked’ and they tasted processed. Two of our party had ribs and these were not hot and did not taste cooked (still had cold fat on the underside). The onion rings were greasy and again under cooked. The burgers had by the men in our party looked on the pink side. We did not want to create a scene in the restaurant as it was busy with some large tables. But at £185 for 6 people it was not a pleasant or cheap experience and has left us questioning if we will return despite it being on the doorstep of one of our party.

We wanted an informal pub dinner for a family catch up. Our intended place was booked out for a function. A friend recommended the Gladstone Hotel at Newbridge which is in the middle of nowhere but well worth our drive. A real find of a country pub. Food was excellent, service was good and the wait times were short. Can strongly recommend this little pub for an informal but excellent dinner.

Great place for a coffee before or after your home around Moel Famau. Large latte is £2.50 (my friends Americans was £2.30)which isn't too bad, whilst there is also a selection of flapjacks and other snacks. Good service, good coffee and not a bad price considering its the only coffee place in town!

After booking into the Seahorse well in advance for New year's Eve as it's my wife's birthday and was her favourite restaurant and we had been treated exceptionally well in the past we expected a great evening. We had been told they catered for vegetarians and there would be a choice of of dishes. After being given a cold welcome we were served some lovely warm and flat lager and a bottle of champagne. The older waitress then began to pressure us into ordering our food. The menu was quite limited for choice so we all opted for my wife's favourite the steak except our vegetarian friend who was given the choice of 1 meal.Upon placing our order we were told they had ran out of steak(how on earth does a restaurant run out of probably their most popular dish on such a notable date, maybe go to Sainsbury's/Tesco to get some and keep your customers happy)and there was nothing to anyone's liking on the menu,it was at this point the waitress seemed genuinely sorry, fair enough, they didn't charge us for our undrinkable lager as some sort of gesture but we paid for the champagne.Luckily Snooze bar and restaurant a few doors down saved the night, and a great night they gave us.My wife was genuinely upset about it and the fact we'd booked well in advance. Our friends had travelled some way to see us and celebrate my wife's birthday and to see the new year in. Seriously gutted as this was a highlight of my wife's regular visits to Llandudno .
