Caffi Gwynant

Porthmadog-Tremadog, Gwynedd, <20£
13/11/2018: Off the beaten path, but a really neat place to eat. Our personal tour guide took us here. The food and service were excellent and the overall vibe was really neat.
05/11/2018: We had a great breakfast and top coffee having had a local recommend this cafe to us. Great setting, good service and top food. Home made ketchup outstanding too.

Seahorse Seafood Bistro and Restaurant

Gogarth, Conwy, 45-60£
01/12/2018: We had a great meal last night at this restaurant. The menu was varied and interesting. I love fish but I like it to be cooked well and not over done. My hake dish was perfect. The wine selection was also good. I can also recommend the Creme Brûlée on the dessert menu. Yummy. We will definitely visit again
20/11/2018: This has been on our list of restaurants to try for a few years now and this weekend just gone we finally got round to eating here.

The Gazelle Hotel

Cwm Cadnant, Isle of Anglesey
02/12/2018: Recommend by friend Excellent location , nice relaxed atmosphere and good carvery really enjoyed will be back..
21/11/2018: We were staying up the hill from the Gazelle and had rung before we travelled to make sure that the pub was dog friendly, it is but there are only 2 tables available for dogs which are just as you go in where the floors are tile (which is fair enough) - so we had booked a table for the Sunday for 5 of us (and a dog). The menu has lots of choice on it, we were there for Sunday lunch but I decided to have a fillet steak and fries, with a pepper sauce - I was so glad I chose this, it was lovely - cooked to perfection. The others had the Sunday lunch options of roast beef, all which came with lots of vegetables and great Yorkshire puddings. I hadn't had a starter as I hoped to have room for dessert .. I had the ice cream which was also delicious.

cibo @ st davids walk

Mold Broncoed, Flintshire, <20£
09/09/2018: It is absolutely fabulous now that the sucessful Rubens has taken over. The food is nicer, service great, just a very nice refreshing change to what it was when 'the clown chef of Mold' had it!
11/08/2018: Cibo is closed and is no longer trading at St David’s walk. Rubens coffee shop have taken over the premises. The owner of Cibo now has a cafe - ‘Latitude 53’ in Earl Chambers, Earl Road, Mold (same building as Mold Alehouse).

Lemon Tree

Grosvenor, Wrexham, >100£
17/12/2018: Thank you for a lovely evening! Visited tonight and had the 3 course Christmas menu. Food was amazing and the staff were lovely. We will definitely be visiting again soon!
15/12/2018: Nice place with a nice atmosphere. Staff not too friendly. Starter was supposed to be smoked salmon. The starter I received was not what I expected. It was a piece of dry salmon with a slightly smoky taste. The main of beef fillet was cooked perfectly but was definitely not fillet. Although it tasted nice you needed a steak knife to cut it. The sweet I ordered was sticky toffee pudding. This came as a non descriptive lump of dry brown cake with chocolate sauce. And ice cream. When I queried what I had been given he said in an abrupt manner that it was sticky toffee pudding. It definitely wasn’t like any I’ve had in the past. The meal was a very reasonable £22.50 so perhaps that’s why. The gin was nice though.

Garth,Menai (Bangor), Gwynedd
17/10/2018: Teras produces nice food, no-one can argue with that. There’s also a great selection ‘light bites’ in case you aren’t in the mood for something too heavy. On the occasion we had lunch, it was busy and the acoustics made it difficult to hear - it felt more like a canteen. Good for a quite coffee in the morning though!
17/04/2018: Lovely staff, great coffee, interesting tea selection & a good menu with choices that are difficult to choose from. Lovely room with great views. Feel comfortable here to pop in on my own to read or use WiFi.

Menai (Caernarfon), Gwynedd, >100£

Senses at St Georges Hotel

Gogarth, Conwy
26/06/2017: Breakfast was excellent, Ham, eggs, juices, fruits,.... Room was to the inside court and small, but much less expensive than the sea-view rooms. WIFI was fast, parking not easy (next in the Victoria shopping centre at 9 pounds overnight stay).
15/01/2017: I wrote a review last week asking the manager to reply he did, I was not mistaken his contractors were sitting in the working cloths in the lounge area.the breakfasts were very good, drinks still a bit expencive.

Gladstone Hotel

Cefn, Wrexham
07/03/2018: Have been here twice now for lunch on a weekend and it has always been quiet. Imagine it picks up at night time. Meals were good size and good value. Cost us less then $40 for burger and chips, Chicken Schnitzel and Veg and 2 soda waters.
