This place is wow just wow we ate the food immediately on our car in the parking lot and it was so good , we had goat curry 1 word: Delicious We had chicken curry. It was our favorite dish it was well plated the rice and beans that came with it were perfectly seasoned and the Sauce was great, We don’t live in England but we’ve been here for about a week eating at some of the highest rated restaurant in big city’s like London, Southampton. Brighton etc and this restaurant was our favorite route out of all of them. Every was so hot it was burning my finger while eating so don’t worry if you think you are getting cold food search elsewhere We took jerk chicken and it was Hot the chicken was well cooked and the sauce was really good We took jerk lamb Delicious The owner even came outside to give us two chairs and a free extra meal that he calls savory donuts that was pretty good it’s like a donut that you dip in the sauces that come with your food I’m gonna stop here since I’m almost at 1000 words and if I continue TripAdvisor would caracterise this as a book lol But yeah my dad is also going to be leaving a review too And I 100% recommend this place to anyone close to Ashford and When I go back to England I will go eat there again Ps yay 1020 is characters

great breakfast choice and lovely view. service nice and attentive; decor and layout well thought out good atmosphere although we ate before restaurant got very busy no wait time and table clearing was prompt and efficient Bridget really looked after us and was polite and efficient, great ambassador for hotel.

Went with a big group. Service was good given the numbers. Starters a little thin but tasty. Mains were good. Deserts were good too

Barely any tills open so massive queues. Weird layout and can't get to various points like toilet freely so if you want a bottle of water have to pay separatelyafter being stood at the till for ages. Only self manned available after 8pm, supposed to be from 09:30 am but isnt. Staff are mix of incredibly rude and lovely. Management need to step up as this could be a great store if managed properly.

Said 25£ on the phone 3 times and then sent the driver with 40£ slip lol

I went to the party, I didn't have food, but there was a nice atmosphere. Would go again.

Pedí comida grande de cola de buey. Llegó comida. No había arroz con guisantes y las verduras al vapor estaban secas e insípidas. Llamé para quejarme y la señora me dijo que el arroz y los guisantes fueron entregados. Le pedí que confirmara la dirección y me dio una dirección diferente. Cuando le avisé de que no citaba mi dirección donde le entregaron quería discutir conmigo. Colgué y decidí no volver a hacerlo. Realmente lástima ya que la cola de buey era perfecta. ¡Sólo una mala actitud!

We dined twice at the Hoste , once for dinner and then lunch. Excellent seating choices inside and out. Food is good particularly calamari starter (outstanding) and the Hoste burger. Service is friendly but a bit of a wait at the bar when busy. Had to cancel a further booking for personal reasons which wasn’t a problem with the pub (thank you). Will return soon.

Encontré este restaurante casualmente caminando en Shoreditch. Desde el exterior la habitación parecía cómoda y llena de mesas libres, una vez en el interior el camarero nos dijo que solo había una mesa disponible y obviamente era la peor. Como la carne a la parrilla del caribe es famosa, la pedimos, pero parecía carbón, ¡era demasiado a la parrilla! El precio hubiera sido correcto si la carne era buena, pero no lo era

A lovely characterful pub, spectacular location on the hillside with views of Corfe Castle from the beer garden and the breakfast room. Was expecting a small standard room and was pleasantly surprised when we were shown to our ‘room’ which consisted of a bedroom, seperate wc and bathroom AND a sitting room with a couch and dining table. It was cosy and warm and welcoming- could not have asked for more.

Although I have not been impressed with the service for some time now and have tried to avoid having g to write a poor review, unfortunately I was utterly dissapointed with today's service and had to break my silence. I have been coming to this place for years and it's always been really nice (hence the reason I kept returning with friends and family). However, the past two years it has really changed. I attended today with a friend and family after hyping up the place to my friend and they were very excited to come. Withal, I couldn't help but notice that, not only they I creased the price, making it very expensive, but they seem to have reduced the buffet and the new buffet does not seem to reflect Brazilian food as it used to be. Instead they seem to have removed many dishes and only have basic/ standard salad items, two types of rice (plain boiled and some type of fried rice) some bland mushroom soup looking dish and some watery bean soup and some tapas type stuff, pasta and what looked like ratatouille- all very substandard. To add insult to injury, we kept being rushed off our table, despite today being good Friday and the restaurant being almost empty when we arrived until we left. There also used to be a diverse team of waiters, however; I've noticed that the past few times, there are no Portuguese speaking waiters, and everyone seems to be Asian (it seems the restaurantis under new management), nothing against that, but one would expect he waiters to provide information about thr food and to see a diverse team (as previously) that were knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients, or how they're the dishes are prepared. However, the recent team has no idea about the dishes and do not seem interested, I stead they only seem to want people to eat and rush out, even though they were not busy. Not impressed! £126.90 for three people and £42.40 for one a one glass of drink (wine and cocktail/ cocktail + £16.93 for service charge seems a bit much for substandard food that we could have elsewhere for a half of the cost. If the service was the same as previously, I wouldn't have minded, but it's really bad for that amount. I will not be returning here.
