A beautiful place with a great atmosphere. We had dinner on the first night of our stay and were extremely impressed but the quality of the food and the service. We will definitely be returning. All in all a very positive experience.

Great food great service. All in all a fantastic place. Relaxed yet high quality food and staff really welcoming and helpful. Hope not everyone finds this place or won’t get in.Well done to all.

The five of us enjoyed a splendid evening meal. The restaurant is tastefully designed, the food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient.

Always a warm welcome, roaring fire, decent food although one of our deserts was completely forgotten.. this is a lovely little village pub at all times of the year, my only gripes was the price of the drinks, very expensive, not just the wine, but soft drinks too and the desserts that we did have, looked and tasted supermarket bought

Good food and friendly staff but poor service. Felt as if understaffed and those serving were run ragged and therfore food took ages to arrive and 3 meals not all served at once - 5 minutes between first meal and last arriving. Also dog allowed to wander amongst diners at will and personally I find this irritating if strange dog sniffing around table whilst we are eating.
