The fish was dark brown like it had been fried 3 or 4 times over. I got food poisoning. This was from the Blackburn branch. PLEASE AVOID!!!!

Staff appeared to not know what they are doing, unsure what was available and what wasn't. Toilets out of order, dirty tables. Would not waste my time and money here again. Avoid.

There is a disgusting man that sits in the window of the cafe all day. He leers at girls and women of all ages, all day every day. He continues to smirk and stare inappropriately at me every time I walk past. It is disgusting. When will the world change. I should not have to change my walk to work just so I don’t feel harassed by a dirty old man.

Manager Jack Hickey was very rude and denied me peri-nase. Even when I said I would pay for it, still shook his head and denied me service. Also not in uniform. Not good enough.

As a bit of a treat after cooking everyday we thought we would try this takeaway service. It's only open a couple of days a week, and social media made it look great. The food was delivered by a nice lady. That is pretty much where the positive ends!! We had a chicken kebab with jerk and oragono. At nearly £13 for one, we were expecting great things. But no, dry overcook chicken. Loads of leaves to fill the box. lack of flavour unless you like salt, there was plenty of salt!! We then had the vegan brownie, well i was nearly sick! It was a dry brown brick.. and tiny! So disappointed! Avoid at all costs!!

I am a regular Subway customer, visiting at least once weekly. I was absolutely disguised and disappointed to get such a disgraceful and degrading service at Drummond St, Rotherham today. Myself and my sister agreed to visit Rotherham and change our weekly Subway meal to that of Drummond St as we was in the area. We were abruptly asked to "wait love" and subsequently two customers who came in after us were served, we said nothing. Thereafter, we ordered a foot foot meal deal, with a drink and cookie. When the assistant was filling the sandwich, I asked for olives and she rudely responded with "okay I am getting there" and sighed under her mask, again we said nothing. Then upon payment they just handed us nachos and a foot long Subway and charged us - this is where things got bad. The exact words I used was "we ordered a meal deal" and we was given an onslaught of words including "no! you didn't", "what do you want?" and lots of mummering under her mask, responding with its an additional £1.88. When asked for the receipt to clarify what we was being charged for and she raised her voice and said "I have thrown it!" This didn't end here, a young man came without uniform and asked what we wanted, we relayed the story and he was being extremely rude and asked us loudly "which cookie do you want?" - he was no different to the staff member we dealt with earlier. I stated "chocolate" as at this point I was ready to walk out, to our amazement after all the staff had said to us and treated us - he responded with " a please would be nice!" At this point, I said "I am only dealing with you the way you have dealt with us the moment we walked into this store and for the past 10 minutes" After this, in front of all the customers he walked away and in a loud voice just kept on going and going stating things like "you're rude", "I don't have time for you", "go elsewhere", "look at yourself" - we have never ever in the past 32 years been treated like this in any store we have visited and purchased from. No apology, no empathy, no customer service, nothing! We received our order and decided to eat out on a bench (which we normally don't do), another customer approached us after a few minutes and said that store is known for its poor customer service. I have contacted Subway complaints and will update as soon as I receive a response. I have never ever complained in the past 32 years to any multinational corporation but I am very upset right now, for the right reasons.

Ordered scrambled eggs on toast which was runny and undercooked. Sent it back and got a replacement which was exactly the same. Staff were apologetic and didn't charge for the meal but I can't understand how the head chef can be told of a customer complaint and then serve up exactly the same dish! Also ordered a hot chocolate which was nice, then ordered a second one which was much too hot- can't understand why the barista doesn't have a standard temperature setting for hot drinks. Been to Mokka several times and previous visits have been quite good but after this experience I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it.

I bought a Time Out meal offer and was told to book the table and send the voucher in, which I did. I was then emailed 10 minutes later, to say the restaurant was booked for a private party that night. I couldn't make another date, so I asked for a refund on the £50 voucher I had bought. A month later and 11 emails later and I still don't have a refund, but lots of excuses why they haven't repaid me and hollow promises. What a shame!
