We thought we would try again after a year's absence hoping that it might have improved from last time. No such luck ! My breakfast came with hard boiled egg as opposed to lightly poached which was specifically request. My wife's eggs benedict was the same. My returned breakfast some time later was satisfactory but my wife's not. It took three attempts to get her's right, by which time I had finished mine. The manager was involved and apologised profusely but still charged me the full amount for the meal. You don't practice what you preach. Not good and won't be coming back !!

We specifically ordered soft poached eggs with both of our choices ( mainly because some chefs over cook resulting in hard boiled rather than poached ) and lo and behold first time round the eggs were hard. My returned breakfast was acceptable but my wifes's had to be returned twice before the eggs were cooked properly by which time I had finished mine. The service was interminably slow as they appear to give preference to staying guests. We had a poor experience on our last visit several months ago but decided to give it another go - big mistake ! We will not be making the same mistake again !!

This is a 5 star review. Well done to front of house staff, waiting on, and back stage in the kitchens. It was a friend and his sister's birthday, and I hesitated about booking because of some of the reviews, but I have been here on numerous occasions, and never been disappointed, so went ahead, a table for 5, but by email changed it to 6. A very nice, friendly twosome welcomed us on arrival, smiley staff, then an efficient move to the restaurant. Our two tables were set for 5 but the staff immediately brought an extra chair, and place setting. Appreciated. Menus arrived quickly, drink orders swiftly taken, glasses appeared in 5 minutes, food requests given, and plates appeared in good time. All 6 of us said a job well done. Faultless. I asked for a warm seating area, and was not disappointed, next to two very old, solid radiators, and not far away from a roaring fire. We then went for a 10 minute stroll to the pond/small lake and saw the fish, and the lovely, well kept grounds. Love the robot lawnmowers. A memorable afternoon. Thanks guys.

Having been here before, it wasn't to bad. So we went again today Wednesday 28th June. There were only two young men, serving and cooking.and it was out of their control. Service was so slow. And the wait for food was disgusting and when we eventually got our food it was terrible. At least 3 others couples complained and walked out before they were servied thier food. 37 Pepper Street Nantwich really needs some help before it closes down

I recently visited Istanbule cafe and was thoroughly impressed. The food was amazing, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The environment was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal or a casual hangout. Highly recommend!

Finally revisited after a long time & ordered my usual meatballs & my friend had a halloumi baguette. They take card payments now, which they didn't use to pre-pandemic & the waiter was a tad snarky when we asked if they did. Food was served quickly & freshly-made. The meatballs could do with more seasoning & the side salad wasn't the best, but the chips were nice, hot & crisp. Overall, Konak hasn't changed much. It's still a popular place for lunch.
