The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Taunton Deane South West

Great food, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back on a nice summers day as we would love to explore the outside area. A real hidden gem.

Following a warm and friendly welcome we both had a really lovely meal. I especially enjoyed the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. We will certainly return to try the Christmas menu. I'm sure it must have been just a 'blip' and a one-off but my only disappointment was that the fire wasn't lit and the atmosphere a bit chilly. However, we plan to return soon.

Now called Zekki, the restaurant offers 'small plates' which I always think, means tapas. It is open Thursday to Saturday evenings and as it is small it is probably worth booking. Well it is fantastic. The waitress is great. The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is cosy. Be warned that these plates are not really that small. We went for 5 between two of us, which was more than the waitress advised, but we couldn't resist. It was a lot. The special which was ox cheek was very good. The roasted halloumi with apricots was out of this world and we wouldn't have missed the roast potatoes which had lovely crispy bits on them. We'd love to go back, but we live a long way away. Possibly vying for the title of best restaurant in Somerset, up there with Reeves at Dunster.

Four of us experienced the Quantock Belle dining journey from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead today The whole afternoon was fantastic, the service, the food, the ambience could not be faulted. All the staff except the chef are volunteers and their teamwork was seamless. We were so well looked after and the food was delicious For a special occasion it was excellent value for money

It's a wonderful fine dining experience, just stunning in every way. A true treat for the taste buds and the eyes.

Really great food and highly recommend all the food from this kebab house! Really love the Mega Mixed Grill, a great shared meal with the family! 👌🏻
