The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Sunderland North East

I recently visited The Old Forge in Washington Village for lunch with my mam, and it was a lovely experience overall. The food was really good, the staff were friendly, and the cozy open fire added such a nice touch to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The only thing that let it down slightly was the disappointing cheesecake, but everything else was brilliant. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a great place to eat with a welcoming vibe!

Visited for Sunday lunch and was massively impressed. It’s a lovely pub, traditionally decorated, they even have a real fire, which was nice and cosy on a chilly winters day. We had to wait a while for our food to be served as we arrived later in the afternoon and they advised it had a been an incredibly busy day. The staff were so apologetic and even arranged a free round of drinks, which was a nice touch. The food was absolutely worth the wait! My lamb shank roast was unreal, the meat was really well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also ordered a side of cauliflower cheese which basically could have been a main meal the portion was that huge. It was delightful, so cheesy and creamy, a total highlight for me. The staff were all super friendly and really made sure we were looked after. I can’t wait to come back and try their main weekday menu.

Esta es una pequeña cafetería fabulosa con una increíble selección de deliciosos pasteles, fui con mi esposo y nieta y sin duda lo visitaré una y otra vez.

Pasan por este lugar todo el tiempo y se han sentido a entrar desde que se abren, y me las arreglé para tener la oportunidad de hacerlo, última noche y no me decepcionó. No era que estaba ocupado, pero no puedo entender por qué ya que la comida era impresionante, estupendas tapas y una selección fabulosa para elegir. Excelente relación calidad-precio y el servicio que empareja con la calidad de la comida. Fuimos a las 7 tapas por 24 libras y el chef también envió a una sopa gratuita como un aperitivo. Los platos estaban bien pensado, bien presentado y recién hecho. Sin duda volveremos y ya se lo he recomendado ...

Tengo un comedor quisquilloso y mi hijo comió una pizza de pollo de 10 "completa de este lugar que en mi opinión dice mucho (cortezas y todo) mejor kebab que he probado en mucho tiempo obtuvimos el naan baab, el pollo era jugoso y el naan estaba recién hecho y era muy suave, los precios están en el lado más alto, pero pagas por la calidad, ya que he pagado más barato en el pasado en otros lugares, solo para estar decepcionado, pero este lugar no decepcionó, hemos estado dos veces en 2 semanas y ambas veces excelente calidad sin duda volverá!
