Lunch was superb but only had capacity for starter and main course. But we booked five more tables for later in the year to include 2 for starters and puds meals. Oh and we had a cider to accompany our lunch since we used the buses so couldn't have to drive.

The Old Station, Station Road, EnglandAs I have a badly broken wrist I pre-ordered a turkey and a pork Easter Day Lunchbox which I thought would be a nice way to celebrate the occasion. My partner collected these at noon on Sunday and we ate them after a bit of re-heating. Both were absolutely delicious! I chose pork for me as the best I have ever eaten was at Perkins some years ago when I selected a pork medallions dish from their menu. Thank you to the chef and all who were involved in producing our lovely lunch.

Church Lane, EnglandWe have been visiting Langar Hall for special occasions for 28 years (our Wedding there)., it will be a long time however before we consider going again. On arrival we were ushered to an iron table in the garden ("we have a big party in tonight") chilly we eventually made our way inside half hour later to be shown to a room off the main restaurant which was lacking in atmosphere and lacking in attention from then serving staff. The meal was in part good, in part not so, the cheese soufflé starter was molten on the outside cold in the middle. The lamb was lacking is seasoning and on the tough side. We were still eating our deserts (which we had to chase for) when our taxi arrived 3 hours from booking time. At £135/pp we expect better.
