Food was ok but the owner and regulars don't make anyone feel welcomed, owner sits at the bar staring at patrons and will skip all songs on the jukebox that are bought using the app or not bought by a regular.

Amazing food. Service quick and friendly. Went for small bites option …more than enough food for £9.95. Bargain!! I had gammon and my husband had the corn beef pie! Very tasty and filling!! Try the lemon meringue cheesecake (other fab flavours to try)..it was amazing x

To say we are disappointed is an understatement. We have been drinking in the Nelson inn most weekends with friends and our children. But since new owners have taken over it is very very clear that they do don’t want our business. Considering it is meant to be a ‘family’ pub, we are made to feel very unwelcome every time we go with our children. We are always out by 7:30pm and always clean up after ourselves. Very rude and such a shame as we will never be returning after spending a lot of money there over the last few years.
