The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Builth Powys Mid Wales

My husband and I had a fabulous meal at the Feast last night. Both of us had a starter, main and dessert and we agreed that every single dish was delicious. It’s not often we find a restaurant that can deliver that. Couple this with a really great friendly and warm service means there is no doubt that we will return.

What a dreadful place, full of snobs. I ordered a black Americano, cold milk on the side, when it arrived there was a hard lump stuck to the inside of the cup, I asked the girl who had served me what it was , she didn't have a clue. Needless to say, I won't be going in there again.

What a shop! An amazing range of imaginative decor to choose from for your home complemented by a fantastic range of cakes! Wendy is also one of the most creative minds to ever run a shop. If you're in Builth or passing through you MUST drop by or you'll be missing out!! We bought an Angler Fish lamp we didn't know we needed, but clearly did!!

We visited twice. The first visit we waited over an hour for food to be told the chef had gone home and there was not food available. We should of seen this as a warning sign. We then visited again my lasagne was awful no pasta, very small and was cremated at the edges. The pie was like water pepper and meat. Then my brother in law was served ribs stone cold , no apology and was told they would reheat the meat, we had to ask for a refund. No one came back to apologise and ask if our food was okay too. 40 minutes after we ate, the table had still not been cleared. We will never eat here again.
