Booked this venue for my daughter's leaving party Feb 2024, excellent venue & perfect size for 70 people although can hold more or less and still look full due to layout of the room. Staff were fantastic and could not do enough to help. It was effortless being the host on the evening as I literally had nothing to do. Looking to book again later in the year for another family celebration.

Compré 2 y me decepcionó mucho.

We have been staying in the area and picked the Glazert Hotel for our last night meal out. It looks great on the website. We got dressed up and headed over. We were given a table in the bar area and after putting in our order we were then given place mats and cutlery to put out ourselves (we weren’t a walk in, I booked a week ago). The food arrived within 20 minutes and was average. The childrens meals are very small. No one came to see how we were at any point. No one came to take another drinks order or offer us a dessert menu and we had to go to the bar in the end to pay. There was no nice conversation with the staff. We felt very much like we were not welcome. There were several local people who came in and were treated very differently. This was a big disappointment at the end of a lovely week when we have had some fabulous meals in Kirkintilloch and lovely lunches at the cafes in Lennoxtown. A real shame as the reviews I’d read before booking were really positive.

1st visit was purely by chance. I came out of Queen St Station, Glasgow, frustrated at finding it almost impossible to put together a meal deal at M&S there. Even the staff struggled. I told them to forget it. I Saw Kaffateria & was amazed when I looked in. A variety of fresh sandwiches in beautiful looking rustic baguettes & rolls. Chose a roast beef baguette & ran to catch the 14.39 train to Inverness. The sandwich was utterly amazing. Best of all was the crusty, crispy bread with the soft, tasty. Inside... Just the right amount of air pockets and moistness. It was like you'd find in rural France or Italy. Made it my new first choice for train snacks & couldn't wait to return. A few weeks later. Bread was soft all over.... But almost stale soft. Disappointed. Following time I bought two sandwiches. Walked to the office and on opening one of them took it straight back. Bread again soft & stale... No texture. The cheese hanging out of it was dried along the edges & curling up. They exchanged it straight away. They asked If I wanted the same type again. I said I didn't care, as long as it was fresh. The one they gave me had clearly been in the fridge all night. I said if they're to try to sell old stuff they should label it as 'yesterdays' & reduce the price. There are people who will be happy with that. They're not cheap @ £5.50 each. I wasn't impressed with even the replacement. Today bought 2 more for the train... Same boring old, soft, doughy & lifeless baguettes like you'd get in Greggs for half the price. Not going back. The first visit must have been a flash in the pan

Daughter goes here with her friends and has always been saying we should go one day together. Well I wish I had gone sooner, just loved the welcoming atmosphere when we arrived and very cosy too. Staff were lovely and the food was awesome and nicely presented. Will definitely make this my place to go when we have our Mother Daughter days.

Recently went here for a bit of brekkie but all that was available was toast bagels or scrambled egg.. was disappointed however did sit in and order. I wish i hadnt as i felt so uncomfortable. I came in and stood at the sign that said wait to be seated. I was then pointed at and then they pointed at a table.. The older woman didnt seem that she wanted to be there and was quite grumpy. No track and trace done either.. Im sure by law you are meant to do track and trace when sitting in?.? The food was good and plenty of butter. The tea was nice but wasnt offered any sugar or sweetener. I wouldn't rush back..

Service was good and sandwiches good but disappointed in 'broccoli' soup - it was a bit watery and had no taste of broccoli, like a thin pea soup! Broth was OK.

Lovely atmosphere and lovely food, great value for money. Would definitely recommend staff are so friendly. The different displayed teapots are a nice change.

We had a chance to have lunch at the Rock & Spindle during a recent visit to St Andres. The restaurant is located on the Castle Course, which I was told was the most difficult golf course to play in the area. The restaurant sits on the 9th and 18th fairways, directly on the North Sea. Spectacular views. There is a gift shop attached. The food and service were okay, nothing to rave about, but a beautiful place to enjoy the scenery. We tried the Haggis Balls with whiskey sauce. Crossed it off the bucket list and moved on.

Visiting shopping Center with 4 friends decided to drop into Greggs for a coffee @ 8pm told takeaway only as they were cleaning seating areas. Went to Starbucks where were welcomed with a pleasant atmosphere & and comfortable seat. Greggs you really need to get your act together.

We felt the Stables was a little lacking in atmosphere - however, in winter with the real fire burning and a few more people it probably feels completely different.

The best coffee Ive ever tasted ..... and I drink a lot of coffee! We were looking for a quick coffee on a chilly afternoon. They seemingly roast their own and this is reflected in the quality of the brew. Im going. to recommend it to other coffee loving friends. Next time ill have a meal as I hear the food is as excellent as the coffee

At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask! Nearly fainted when I was told the price for a salad roll, cup of tea, bottle of water and a cake.............
