Called in for ice cream, (still sell soave, s) and decided to get a take out salad box, assistiant just stuck her hand in lettuce ans started to fill the box, needless to say had to ask should she not b using tongs, she then went and put on gloves not at all impressed with hygiene, OK if u r buy something pre wrapped though it makes u wonder if hygiene is lacking in front of customer what it like where can't see

Stopped in for a coffee and ice cream. Mine (raspberry ripple) was delicious. Hubby is diabetic, so went for lemon sorbet. Also excellent (I had to check it out). Lots of different flavour - from the modern (Irn Bru) to the traditional - something for everyone. Very modern, but ice cream as per theItalian cafes of yesteryear..

This Cafe has recently changed hands and is no longer Soaves. Decided to try the take away as usually just have the ice-cream, which is delicious. Disappointed in the food though. To be fair the fish supper had 2 decent pieces of fish and enough chips and was ok. However, the pie in the pie supper looked awful and was inedible. This is not the first time that have received below par food. Had a breakfast roll (which is not cheap) and had to go back 3 times as the order was not correct. The quality of the contents was also poor. Although the Cafe itself looks good and the interior is well done, this doesn't seem to be backed up by the quality of the food.

I like to come here with my partner and kids when visiting my in-laws, its nice friendly staff and atmosphere and excellent ice cream and good food, great value for money too. I enjoy coming to my in-laws knowing I'm going to be here to eat.

Has recently changed hands and is now called Cafe C. I have not tried out the new menu yet but the new decor looks very impressive and have added a fish bar where you can now get take away fish and chips etc. The ice cream is still the same lovely creamy style with great flavours. Would recommend the Scottish tablet and honeycomb. Mint choc chip is also lovely. Often stop in for a latte which is still resonably priced at £1.80 for a regular, even with the prices going up recently.

A great wee shop that sells fantastic ice cream. Not always got my favourite mint one, but the Scottish tablet is pretty good too! Handy place for some bacon rolls, too!

We can walk to the Colzium from our house, it's approximately 1 mile. We usually stop at the cafe for a short rest and a wander around the walled garden before returning home. Not a lot of choices in the cafe but enough to keep you going.

Things have gone down hill at The Coorie Inn . Apparently asking for an extra slice of bread to go with your pate is not ok , even when you offer to pay for it . The waiter asks how you would like your steak and , when you say very well done , they bring it pink . You tell the waiter you have a dairy intolerance and they bring you a meal prepared with dairy products . They say they gave a Vegan Menu and the only dessert available is sorbet . No Christmas Crackers this year ?
