Great cafe, great food with home baking on offer & friendly, welcoming staff make it a pleasure to visit.

Great service and sanitation 100%, adhering to all the new regulations with a smile, lovely relaxed lunch, and, in our opinion,the best scones locally, staff are excellent. Highly recommend in these days of uncertainty. 👍

This cafe is spotless and the staff are just lovely. We had driven by the cafe many times and decided that we’d give it a try. We weren’t disappointed. First of all I have to mention the homemade soup which was delicious and made from scratch from one of the members of staff. I would recommend the soup if you are a fan of homemade soups. The cafe does hot rolls too whether it’s bacon, egg or sausage. If you’re in before 11:00 am they’ll do you a cooked breakfast. Hot and cold drinks are available so there’s something to suit everyone. We’ll definitely be back in the near future. Thanks guys!!!

I have frequented the View Café on many occasions covering a good number of year's. My experience today however was tainted with displeasure as a member of staff ran roughshod regarding my dining comfort, she constantly kept opening the door into the dining area because she was too warm, an excuse I found quite unacceptable as my friend and I were sitting adjacent to the open door. This ruined what should have been a nice lunchtime meal.

Great wee café. Well organised with spaced out tables and one way system. Good coffee and a selection of soup and sandwiches or hot meals. No booking so at busy times you might need to wait on a table and chairs being sanitised. Table service only. Feels like a very safe space to meet a friend for coffee or lunch. Staff are terrific and Kirsty's scones are to die for.

My daughter had a Mermaid Afternoon Tea with some special friends x it was amazing and everyone was so kind and friendly the food was amazing my daughter had a lovely time xxxx

Visited cafe today around 1.30, about half the tables had used dishes etc on them. There was nowhere I could have sat. Could see 2 members of staff, one making drinks and taking money, the other seemed to be behind the scenes presumably making up orders. However, having tables that customers can sit at is a must, so I left.

Fantastic food, great service and even better prices... had the best bagel with bacon and cream cheese ever... hubby had the baked potato with chicken mayo.. food was excellent... def recommend this place.

Went to this cafe for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. I was overcharged by over £2 and waited until there was nobody to be served before returning for a quiet word at the cash desk. I was somewhat surprised by the attitude of the cashier who asked me if I was sure and implied that I was mistaken. As no receipt had been given nor seemingly no way to check the amount, I quietly left, not wishing to draw the attention of the other patrons. My advice to anyone going there would be to check the menu to know how much your bill is before ordering. I would not go back there again despite the fact that the food was OK.

Well worth a visit for a tea, coffee, latte etc and a snack, attached to local church. Very friendly staff, clean and bright surroundings with fair prices. Nice and relaxing.
