My son and daughter and a friend had a joint first communion day here on Saturday. The staff were welcoming and the food was delicious.Not many people know this restaurant but it is a hidden gem and we will be going back for lunch soon .Sitting looking onto the little lake and fountain is very relaxing..Highly recommend

Fui a Eurovisión Semi-Final Night en el 226 Gallowgate el 15 de mayo, y honestamente — fue surrealista. El lugar parecía estar listo para una fiesta de Eurovisión: bolas de discoteca, decoraciones temáticas, las obras. Pero eso hizo aún más desconcertante que no entregaran nada más de lo que anunciaban. No hay drag act, pudimos ver, no hay lista de reproducción de Eurovisión del DJ. Y el mayor problema: el sonido. Proyectaron el programa en una pantalla grande, pero ni siquiera se molestaron en conectar altavoces. En su lugar, simplemente subieron el volumen en un pequeño televisor al otro lado de la barra. ¿El resultado? No podías oír una sola cosa a menos que te pararas en ese extremo, e incluso entonces, fue amortiguado y ahogado por la charla del pub. Este es un concurso de canciones. La gente estaba allí para mirar y escuchar, y todos a nuestro alrededor decían lo mismo: era inobservable. Tuvimos un amigo visitando específicamente para Eurovisión, y nos avergonzó mucho traerlos aquí. ¿Por qué ir al esfuerzo de decorar si no vas a hacer lo básico bien? Noche muy decepcionante. No volveré.

We can walk to the Colzium from our house, it's approximately 1 mile. We usually stop at the cafe for a short rest and a wander around the walled garden before returning home. Not a lot of choices in the cafe but enough to keep you going.

Compré un trozo de tarta de la selva negra el día anterior para ver qué puedo esperar. Ser un pastel de caridad no debería significar que le des un pastel de menor calidad. Ninguna empresa sensata vendería un producto de mala calidad. Arruina la reputación. Compré 2 y me decepcionó mucho.

We have been staying in the area and picked the Glazert Hotel for our last night meal out. It looks great on the website. We got dressed up and headed over. We were given a table in the bar area and after putting in our order we were then given place mats and cutlery to put out ourselves (we weren’t a walk in, I booked a week ago). The food arrived within 20 minutes and was average. The childrens meals are very small. No one came to see how we were at any point. No one came to take another drinks order or offer us a dessert menu and we had to go to the bar in the end to pay. There was no nice conversation with the staff. We felt very much like we were not welcome. There were several local people who came in and were treated very differently. This was a big disappointment at the end of a lovely week when we have had some fabulous meals in Kirkintilloch and lovely lunches at the cafes in Lennoxtown. A real shame as the reviews I’d read before booking were really positive.

Service was good and sandwiches good but disappointed in 'broccoli' soup - it was a bit watery and had no taste of broccoli, like a thin pea soup! Broth was OK.

Daughter goes here with her friends and has always been saying we should go one day together. Well I wish I had gone sooner, just loved the welcoming atmosphere when we arrived and very cosy too. Staff were lovely and the food was awesome and nicely presented. Will definitely make this my place to go when we have our Mother Daughter days.

We felt the Stables was a little lacking in atmosphere - however, in winter with the real fire burning and a few more people it probably feels completely different.

Called in for ice cream, (still sell soave, s) and decided to get a take out salad box, assistiant just stuck her hand in lettuce ans started to fill the box, needless to say had to ask should she not b using tongs, she then went and put on gloves not at all impressed with hygiene, OK if u r buy something pre wrapped though it makes u wonder if hygiene is lacking in front of customer what it like where can't see

But there are quite a lot of them so if you like peaceful this is not the place. Good coffee, excellent cakes, location bang central. Staff v friendly.

At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask! Nearly fainted when I was told the price for a salad roll, cup of tea, bottle of water and a cake.............

Groupon ofrece dos comidas de 2 platos más 2 vasos de Prosecco. 25) Ambos fuimos por Cullen skink, grandes cuencos servidos con pan y mantequilla, pagamos 2 extra pero vale la pena. Filete Angus, papas fritas con salsa de pimienta, un hongo y tomate nuevamente 5 extra cada uno, delicioso. Solo en el otoño pidieron una porción de verduras de temporada que no aparecían y solo querían una porción de salsa con pimienta que trajeron dos. Los errores no fueron acusados. El restaurante solo tenía otros dos huéspedes, así que no había ambiente. Personal agradable

Sonntags, wenn absolut alles in der Umgebung geschlossen hat, ist dieser Coffee-Shop die absolute Rettung für alle, die in der Umgebung Zeit verbringen müssen. An der Qualität der Angebote und an den Preisen gibt es nichts auszusetzen .

Muy bonito lugar, funky. Moderno, excelente ubicación y encantador para comer al aire libre. PERO eso es todo. El personal es peor que desesperado, tantas cosas no disponibles, un café sin ketchup o hielo? ¡En serio! Y no te vayas si tienes prisa, esperamos 20 minutos por menús, MENUS! Eventualmente entraron a buscarlos y 4 empleados parados detrás del mostrador hablando. Chica despejando mesas vapeando mientras trabajaba, extremadamente poco profesional! Otra larga espera y aún sin orden finalmente entró en orden, la sopa vino caliente NO caliente, y sabía como si fuera de una lata! Por extraño que parezca, la factura llegó muy rápido! 🤣 experiencia extremadamente decepcionante. Hay mucho mejores lugares en la zona. ! !
