Great little bakery tucked in the centre of the town which caters for sit in and takeaway. Their pancakes and sandwiches are by far the best and freshest in the town for consuming. Cakes and buns are also amazing (try the caramel squares)

Quirky & unique little tea room full of memorabilia. Worth 5* for the welcome alone. Friendly hosts & so down to earth. Very accommodating. Limited menu but couldn’t fault it - toasties, burgers, sandwiches, soup. All you need on a cold winter’s day. Will definitely be back! Thank you 🙏

I ate in here Friday 7th Feb. I have had many takeaways and was happy to finally have a chance to sit it. We both ordered shakes and bowls. Based on the service of the waitress we will definitely not be back. To have your pronunciation corrected, a handful of knives forks and napkins dropped in silence, and our shakes served in silence - I'll much happier take my services back to Seed, even with it being a 90 minute round trip. Have never experienced service in silence in my life. Complete condescending behaviour.

Quality of food is good. But quantity is poor, I ordered breast of duck and received 2 small slices of a duck breast. No Merlot or Malbec wine and a burger was ordered to be told there was no burgers left. Service is poor as I was told they were understaffed but staff had time to stand and talk to each other at the end of the bar. I was looking a 2nd glass of wine during our meal but no-one came near us while we were eating. At the end of our meal no-one came to offer desserts, tea or coffee. We paid the bill and pointed out these short comings.

Had a nice lunch here of a chicken wrap and ham and cheese toastie with coffee. The decor is very rustic with unusual corrugated iron fittings. Service was a bit slow and we had finished our coffees before our sandwiches came. There was also a workman next door drilling which was very annoying. Surely he could have waited until lunchtime was over.? There were so many other cafes and restaurants in Magherafelt that we will try on our next visit
