Great food and a warm welcome, great service , foods always hot, nice atmosphere inside the restaurant, good selection of beers

Only second time we have called in since the new tenants/managers have taken over. Vast improvement.

Really nice food and great beer. Lovely rural location. Plenty of parking. Good garden and fishing ponds.

The service from the staff in the Jacobean pub is amazing the man from Newcastle ( I think sorry if not) is so so so good at his job so professional and helpful the food is really good only thing I can criticise is the chips there so so chewy like they been microwaved should be crispy but that would not stop me from going back just will not order chips !

Visited today, the bar staff are lovely, polite and hard working. We had a sharing platter which looked lovely, however some of the chicken wings were hot, some half warm half cold and one was completely cold. The nachos were all stuck together with rock hard cheese. It looked like they had been sat inder the grill for the hour that we waited for our food to come. The lovely young lady replaced the wings for us and put them in a tub to bring them home. Won’t be visiting again. Sorry to the bar staff but your cook lets you down and it’s not the first time the food hasn’t been upto scratch.

I Would like to mention a staff member called Beth at the garden centre who always shows a smile and is friendly towards us and the grand children , Beth always goes out of her way to make out visit a good one.

Called "off the cuff"as it was raining & at least 5 tables undercover were free plus a large table with the umbrella down vacated. Greeted at the door by a young female asking if we had a booking.On answering no just told quite abruptly were fully booked !!! Did not attempt to ask more senior staff to clarify if we could have had a drink. Not very impressedTo quote Freddie Mercury..is this the world we have created !!!
