Super breakfast. Dropped in on our Sunday morning walk. Asked if we could sit in with our well behaved little dog. All ok so we indulged . Great coffee, superb eggs royale and friendly attentive service. Will definitely call again. Thanks.

Without question the food here is good. The tastiest sandwiches and cakes. However, the reception can vary depending on who is working. On our last visit the dark haired lady serving couldn’t even be bothered to say Hello and was actually a little rude. Felt rather unwelcome and uncomfortable whilst spending £20 on 3 sandwiches. We think we’ll spend our money elsewhere going forwards.

I called in for lunch, with my daughter and granddaughter. They'd gone to a lot of trouble to trim up for Halloween. The place was packed - always a good sign. My granddaughter and I settled for the Steak and Kidney Pie and my daughter opted for the scampi. The staff were friendly and attentive, and there was a really good atmosphere. The food arrived, piping hot, and the generous portions were cooked to perfection. I'd thoroughly recommend the Dusty Miller and suggest any prospective diners book in advance, due to it's obvious popularity. We'll certainly be back!

We were sat at a table of our choice and ordered drinks. We were told that they didn’t offer starters on a Sunday. This isn’t mentioned on the website. Although a little disappointing, it wasn’t the end of the world, We ordered drinks (hand pulled beer option limited to Timmy Taylor’s Landlord) . The drinks arrived but a massive bug bear of mine is no beer/drinks mats on tables They had loads at the bar, so went to get some myself and handed a few to the appreciative table next to us The food menu for a Sunday was varied with plenty of choice (slight disappointment that the lamb shank shown on website menu is not on the actual menu) We ordered the beef brisket lunch, the pig out (3 meat) lunch a sharing cauliflower cheese and 2 lots of fish and chips. At least 3 tables who arrived after us and arrived after us received their food before us. The wine list was minimal (4 red wine options from memory) We ordered a bottle of Argentinian Malbec at £20, it was not very good at all and very much over priced. I would have preferred an option to pay more for a decent one. The food arrived and was very good and priced accordingly. Overall I probably wouldn’t rush back as there are other places similarly priced which I prefer but I couldn’t knock the food
