I have visited thirst 4 coffee a number of times. I have always been presently surprised by the attention to detail in a small local shop. All of the products a locally sourced and everything is fresh and presented very well. Everything was clean and tidy, staff were friendly and accommodating. All facilities were very clean there is easy access from the street, there is plenty of parking. I had a toasted BLT and brownie washed down with a lovely hot chocolate. It's a great venue to catch up over a coffee or lunch a great location for a meeting. There is a outside seating area that enclosed to give you that sense of separation from the rest of the area.

Cafe at the Lane's health club. Recently joined the club and the cafe is such a bonus. Really friendly staff, always a smile and super delicious food and coffee at very reasonable prices. The Budda bowls are really delicious and healthy. So good I invited my daughter for lunch too. A nice relaxed atmosphere and have had lovely chats with other members at the club. Thoroughly reccomed.

Have enjoyed a Cappuccino here on several occasions, if you haven’t tried it yet then you are seriously missing out. The atmosphere is so cool, it is the sort of place that you would be quite happy just to linger longer after finishing a great coffee. Check out the opening times on Google.

We have had a few takeaways and deliveries from Cobies Cabin. Great for all the family and lots to choose from. I’m a very fussy eater and it never fails to disappoint. Love the fact they are just around the corner from us too. My little girls are looking forward to our weekend weekly treat 😊

Tempted in by the board saying 2 large breakfasts and drinks for £10, we weren't disappointed. Quick service and very friendly staff.

Excellent service from friendly staff. Some of the best fish and chips I've had for along time. Portion size excellent for the price. Highly recommended.

Great local pub with a really good atmosphere and lovely licencees. The ceaser salad was to die for especially the dressing and my friends hunters chicken was just as lovely. All in all we had a great visit, so much so that we were back the next day for another drink!!!

Visited whilst on a walk, quiet on a Saturday afternoon, a few locals in. No food on offer, beer OK.

Took my elderly mother here for a pot of tea and a bacon roll and wished I hadn't. The bacon rolls took nearly 20 minutes to arrive and the bacon was absolutely cremated. It was awful. I would've demanded my money back but my mother didn't want to make a fuss. Definitely won't return.

My partner and I visited the old lion for the first time since it has been taken over and refurbished, and I can say it was worth us waiting!! The decor is beautiful and exactly what the pub needed! It feels so open and inviting. The staff are all so so friendly! I didn’t get the name of our server but he was so lovely! He was attentive but not to attentive that it was intrusive! The food was out of this world! So flavourful and good portions too!. I myself had a lamb shank curry which I requested that the spice was adjusted to my acquired needs ( I don’t do spice very well) but the waiter so understanding of that and made a note of it and I can confirm it was Devine!! The meat fell off the bone and was just so tasty I’ve been craving it ever since!! 🙈 My panther had the tandoori chicken and chips which again was so tasty and full of flavour and not dry in the slightest! We had a sharing sizzler starter, which was nice and everything was cooked fresh but in my opinion not worth the £16 for what you get on it! I have recommended the old lion to soo many people I know and we will definitely be back for another visit soon !!

The sirloin steak on the stone was absolutely delicious. The side dishes were equally tasty , the staff were friendly and very efficient. We shall return !

There are not a lot of places to go around here, less during Covid. This is a well spaced cafe, taking all the required precautions. It has an extensive breakfast menu, lovely cakes and scones and the coffee is really good. (I haven't sampled the meals yet but I will be back). My partner had the breakfast baguette with bacon and egg - it was a hearty portion - a full baguette, cut in two full of bacon and an egg on each part - great value (under £5). It takes booking which is helpful if youbwanti

This is a quirky and interesting little place in a lovely spot by the canal but falls short beyond that. We only ordered coffee and tea due to poor service and quality of the drinks. The drinks were not hot. Tea was served already stewed and luke warm from a machine and the coffee was cool and tasteless served in tiny cups. I had to ask for hot water and tea bags and start again with the girl serving as there was no communication. I felt as though I was a nuisance asking for hot drinks. This place could be so much more. The prices were cheap but I’m happy to pay more for a decent cup of tea and coffee. How can that be too much to ask? We decided not to risk ordering any food!
