A great pub with a friendly welcome, good selection of beers/ciders and good honest pub food. Plenty of space inside and outside. Would definitely recommend.

We haven't been to this pub for several years as it used to be patronised by beer swilling sport fanatics. Not any more! THe new owners have invested a lot of money in The Bull to an high standard. The food was exceptional value for money and there is cask ale available We tried the Good Job ale as we hadn't seen that before and that was good too! Considering that this is within walking distance, we will returnThere is a good sized car park behind the pub although the entrance could be confusing if you do not know the village as it appears you are gong towards a private house.

A typical town centre type of pub, it is very popular offering nice home style cooked meals as well as the ever present sports on television. Like any pub it has its regulars but even those visiting for the first time receive a pleasant warm welcome. Well worth a visit if your in town.

We had our first meal at The Bull Inn, Clifton and we really enjoyed it. It is a pub we are very familiar with ut that aside the lunch was top notch especially the minted lamb and Chilli burger and the service was first class. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

We have visited a few times in the last year, probably once every few months, the owner has always been very accommodating, we usually find it a bit cold in there however this evening the fires were roaring and the ambiance was lovely. We were offered complimentary sandwiches by the fire, I think was a one off as we were recognised but was a lovely touch and the drinks were of a good quality. We will keep returning there for a cosy drink. X

I found myself in Rugby with some time on my hands and have eaten from this menu in other towns and cities up and down the country so I know the food is good. Whilst the pub is clearly a drinkers pub I have to say the food was great and just as I expected even given the fact that there were very few customers eating. Full marks to these guys doing great food at a very decent price, the staff were very good and clearly got on with the regulars and it was nice to find a pub with a pool table (I just wish I wasn't on my own and had someone to play against!)
