Cv22 is an excellent bar, classy decor, great cocktails and beer, and often has brilliant live music on too. A great option for a late night out out (open til 1 on the weekend) and also nice for an earlier evening drink / food too

Great Beer! Great live music! Great Food! Great Service! Only thing thing that lets it down is the fact that they don't take cash. I understand that it might make things easier for the owner, doing away with the need for daily banking, but for political reasons I strongly disagree with the move towards a Cashless Society that seriously affects the working classes, the poor and disenfranchised.

Only place where you can get a draught alcohol free beer in Rugby as far as I am aware. Nice bar to have a drink in as well and always looks lovely and busy on an evening so must be good.

Inside the 22 is a great place for drinks, cocktails, food and live music.

Had a great night here and I envy anyone who lives near this place. Looks fantastic, serves food and frequented by lovely, friendly people.

Lovely venue and great live music. Cocktails could be better as the same cocktail didn’t taste the same.

Oli and his team have created a wonderful space for live performance and as a band who recently performed there, we were impressed with the great setup and atmosphere that’s been created . Best brunch ever! 10/10 never going anywhere else. We had the French toast and the eggs Benedict and both were unbelievable. The hash browns are 1000/10.

Nice cocktails, lovely staff. However reggae overdose. It gets boring and tiring at some point.

What a fabulous place! Really friendly and attentive staff and love their love music. I was playing in a band - ReCover - and Oli looked after us all night making sure we had a good time and more importantly the audience had an even better time. Awesome.

A great gig at Inside the 22 in Rugby, staff were great and accommodating, the customers really enjoyed themselves and the bar stays open until 1am. What's not to like - a great venue with a lot of vibe !

Fantastic venue, great mix of music and lovely atmosphere.

Happened to come here for breakfast on the day they had a new chef starting and wow the food was phenomenal! Highly recommend, will definitely be coming back :). Try the french toast or the Turkish eggs!

A lovely bar/restaurant in the heart of rugby with a great selection of beers and nice staff. They also have live music on weekends with some really great acts, I would recommend

What a fabulous venue to perform at with a wonderful atmosphere...and with a stage big enough to hold a 5 piece band...what a treat! Inside The 22 is the best cafe bar, in Rugby town centre, without question. With free entry and a great selection of food and drink it's wonderful to see independent venues supporting live music so passionately. The bar staff were so friendly and helpful; they even offered to help us carry the gear in! Thanks to Oliver the owner who was the perfect host and also did the best job with engineering our sound and lights. Midlands covers band, Wired2Party can't wait to be invited back.

I had the privilege of celebrating a milestone birthday here. It was a private hire and Ollie, together with his team, were nothing short of amazing. Responsive, proactive and accommodating in all aspects. No request too big and none too small. The food prepared for our guests was delicious. It was well prepared, and catered for specific dietary requirements without hesitation. Compliments to the chef as every guest mentioned how great the food was! (I have also had brunch here and the food is spot on). The venue is beautiful and caters for live music with all tech and sound aspects taken care of. It is evident there is a real passion for live music here. Sam led the bar team on our night and he was great. Very knowledgeable and receptive. A huge thanks to him and his team. The venue also has one of the best whiskey selections available in Rugby. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue and am very grateful to Ollie and his team for making my occasion truly memorable. my son had is 40th Birthday party such a Excellent venue all the staff & Manger were amazing and we had a excellent service by Sophie, Owen , Abi & Roddy all our family & friend who attended the venue were very happy they all had good time they all said it was very friendly place

I have to say.....this place is amazing...elegant....and super friendly! I was DJing last night here, Sam (Manager) was so accommodating and understood my needs to the fulliest!!!! The Owner - Oli popped in and was so down to earth and approachable! Staff, Owen Roddy, Sophie and Abi we so amazing, they gave the phrase "Service with a smile" a whole new meaning!!! Absolutely the best music venue in the area. Looks and sounds fantastic - and with a dedicated stage - a rare thing these days! Amazingly the food is also fabulous - as are all the staff. Can't wait to be back there!

Went for brunch this morning with my mum and ordered the 'Try The Mushrooms' with bacon which was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were welcoming & great service. The owner, Ollie, was very friendly and had a great chat with us Definitely going again and affordable prices for brunch! 😍

Brunch is back - and it’s so good! In fact the best smashed avocado with a side of halloumi ever. Lovely place to enjoy a relaxing Saturday (or Sunday) morning. Great coffee/tea and excellent service with a smile. A gem in Rugby.

A friend and I sat outside this cafe on a beautiful Saturday. Our server Alexander was absolutely charming. Great first start! The our food arrived, it looked lovely, beautifully presented. However we tucked in and the eggs were undercooked- the whites were runny and the hollandaise sauce was cold. I attracted the attention of a lady who had been talking to a group of customers ( she clearly knew them) She looked at me as if to say 'yes?' but didn't move. I gestured to call her over as I didn't want to shout out the problem. We explained that we weren't happy with our meals and she, rather abruptly, agreed to replace them. The new eggs were fine, the hollandaise sauce was still cool but we still ate it. It's such a pity because it's clearly a nice little place but the food spoilt it for us.

The vibe is great here especially when live music/gigs is on. Also the cocktail and mock tails are the best ones I’ve ever had upstairs in CV22. Definitely top quality and posh atmosphere, highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to hire out the upstairs area for an ‘intimate’ wedding reception with our close family and friends. CV22 outsourced incredible stone baked pizzas from Stone Love Pizza which our guests loved. They also manned our own exclusive bar upstairs and the cocktails and mocktails were top notch! (Particularly the espresso martini.) Sam was really accommodating with everything including helping to set up a borrowed soft play area for the kids and playing our wedding playlist through the speakers. Would 100% recommend hiring this area to anyone wanting to plan a party or celebration with a little extra class and atmosphere. Thank you, CV22!

Got to give credit to CV22, it’s our friends go to place so they took us to see The Dan Collective. Such a great bunch of musicians including Rugby’s own Ian Hill doing justice to Steely Dans classics. Tasty antipasti, CV22 Half Time beer plus cocktails too. Lets make this place thrive, Rugby needs life.

Have eaten here many times .. tried brunch,tapas and the a la carte menu and it is our go to place for cocktails and drinks but have never left a review. We have always found the staff friendly and welcoming, drinks from cocktails to coffees well made and delicious and the ever changing and evolving menu superb. Such a fabulous addition to our town.

New Year In Style. Inside the 22 provided a first class new years eve party. Great company, superb surroundings, excellent food and top notch service. What a way to celebrate and see in the new year. Thanks to the hard working staff.

Having lived in rugby all my life I decided to pop in and see what this place was about. Ordered 2 single vodka and coke. £12 Really ! This is not London or high end cocktail bar. No atmosphere and it didn’t feel inviting. My partner thought the place was in the middle of being decorated. Won’t be revisiting as the only thing that stood out was the price of the drinks. Overpriced.

An amazing night of great food and perfect service. We had our Christmas party for 20+ people and pre-ordered from your new festive menu. The room upstairs was the perfect setting and your team were always on hand to take a drinks order and ensure we were ok with the food. The meal was delicious, tasty and just the right portion size. Highly recommended for parties or just a great place to socialise. Thank you Oli and the team!

What a great venue. Cocktails, food and drinks are well thought out and perfectly engineered, with great quality ingredients and served with skill. The decor is stylish and idiosyncratic in a fun but chic way.

A bit quiet as it was early Sunday evening, but food and service were excellent. We had a flat iron steak, two vegetable curries and the best chicken snitzel ever + lovely baked cheesecake and drinks £100 - well worth a trip

I have a bit of a weakness for cheesecake. Really nice adage with figs/honey to it :) . The Celeriac and Apple soup (soup of the day) was lovely(i also now know what part of the celery 'celeriac' is) and the 'Garlic Woodland Mushrooms' with the sourdough bread/rocket and shavings of Parmesan was bang on the money. Trying to work my way up to having a steak. Really need to check out the fish and duck on the menu as well. Maybe next time.Kudos to Oli and the chef - in fact, any people involved in the newer stuff on the menu. I also have to say that all my food was less than £10 each - or at least just above £5, so pretty cheap for me as well. I would still put the food at least in the 'mid-range' area, but going on an upward trajectory - at least taste-wise anyway. I had all this while the Rugby was on. It's also a superb place for live music, if you weren't aware.

didn't eat but had a few rounds of late afternoon drinks. 2nd round tried a homemade lemonade with gin. very nice drunk but the round seemed expensive. I queried it and was told it was correct. ordered some more if the lemonade gins and was overcharged compared with the offer. queried and seems the tull price was wrong. eventually got my refund after snotty looks. ordered a 3rd round and AGAIN overcharged. Guess that's their game, relying on drunk customers. thanks to the reply from the owner inside 22 i feel obliged to reply. I never said the bar was "expensive' I said my round seemed expensive...and it was. You would think on the 3rd time of ordering (and me telling them of the overcharge) the staff would have rectified the till or indeed told the owner of the problem to change it. They didn't and it makes me wonder how many more customers were overcharged. like I said originally they were not forthcoming with the price correction or refund no matter the price difference. issues like this are what makes a difference to customer service. The owner would rather tell me i was in the wrong bar than apologise for the error. thanks for noticing my 14 reviews in 5 years.....I clearly have a complaining problem.

FAB drinks and a great place, but disappointed with the gluten free options on the menu and beers...maybe you can improve on that score?

Unarguably the finest bar in Rugby . Staff , food , drink of the highest quality ! Always made to feel special irrespective of how busy . Very seldom do you find a bar of such high standards that caters so brilliantly on a pricing scale too .... Venue , location , ambience , quality of food , drink , staff .... SUPERB !!!

Absolutely amazing love it been here twice they have the best coffees in Rugby. The vibe as well is lovely relaxing and can be intimate! The staff are also very welcoming! Love this for Rugby town!

We were a large group, 20, Inside the 22 provided a really fantastic venue made even better by wonderful food and great service. The live music was a great bonus. Several of our group had not visited before, but everyone said they would definitely come back.

Sat outside with our dog. Only a brief stop off. Toilet seat badly needs replacing. I did see some food menus but I'm not certain they were serving when we called. Pleasant staff.

Nice size not that big so your close up to the music. Outfitted with school style furniture. Drunks are bit more expensive than average for the area. There is no cover on the door for the band so probably works out if you want live music. Cocktail list is rather short and bar staff don't stray from this so not a cocktail bar really. Good place for the older crowd. Tried the food, hot dogs and dirty fries are really nice.

Go here every month with my granddaughters, not been for 5 months what a disappointment. Used to have a small teapot each with loose tea, a nice experience. Now had a cup of boiling water with a teabag plonked in. Ordered croissants for 2 and toast. Had to go and ask where the toast was we’d finished our tea. It wasn’t busy only another couple in. Won’t be returning

Have visited CV22 several occasions now and each time has been fantastic. The food menu has options on quick sharing food, gourmet dogs (so good) and dirty fries, tapas or something a bit special like a seabass or pork belly. The choice on beer is good and plenty of cocktails. We used the venue for a presentation on the 1st floor and stayed for the social and open mic night. Check out the events as there is always something going on around live music. Great place, delightful food and friendly team.

It's a bar. Aimed towards the younger generation. No real ale but Erdinger on draft.

The nicest bar in town based on service with great bar staff, cleanliness which responded to pandemic pressure and a nicely quirky atmosphere of a great variety of bands. Owner -Oli- is a true expert on Rugby with balls🏉 and the local demographics. Only negative is pricing which is arguable with the old non-sequitor "you get what you pay for". Excellent coffee during the day -always ask about the beans- with great food that is also uniquely original. Great cocktails and beers available at night with entertainment from great bands or rugby🏉 on possibly the biggest screen in Rugby.

Great place, me and my partner love coming here for a drinks and especially love drinking here in the summer months and sitting outside, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good music and very clean. Yet to try the food but looks delicious from what I have seen.
