Took my elderly mother here for a pot of tea and a bacon roll and wished I hadn't. The bacon rolls took nearly 20 minutes to arrive and the bacon was absolutely cremated. It was awful. I would've demanded my money back but my mother didn't want to make a fuss. Definitely won't return.

Had an afternoon. 'still cautious about covid' milkshake and slice of cake here. What a clever idea - an open air traditional tea room. It is wonderfully laid out, the décor is quirky and comfortable and the milkshakes are excellent. The cake (blueberry and banana) was staggeringly good. Prices are very reasonable and the Staff are just so nice - helpful and upbeat. What are you waiting for? Go there!

I've just posted this review on the Facebook page as well, just spreading the love around. First time in many years for wifey and I to visit here. Despite the busy new years eve crowds, the service was excellent and so friendly. We only went in for a quick drink but when food arrived at another table, it looked so good we simply had to order something to nibble. Two ham and cheese toasties (one with tomato) arrived promptly (the tomato was for the wife, I'm not weird or anything) along with an extra coffee, and we hardly spoke as the food was too good to interrupt my chewing with chat. It's early days with only one meal and a few drinks, but the standards can't be faulted. Top marks all round girls. See you again soon.

Being retired and living close to Abergavenny, we regularly visit this café we, always have a good welcome and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The café is always spotlessly clean, it welcomes dogs and has a dogs menu. We highly recommend this café.

Popped in for refreshments - tea and coffee. Quirky and nice - we plan to go back and sample the eats next time. Happy to recommend.

Met up with some old work friends and managed to get two tables in Rosie & Izzy’s coffee shop it’s situated in the precinct of Cibi Walk in Abergavenny by Wilco, it’s a lovely pretty cafe it has it’s own area within the precinct cordoned off all under cover, very clean and dog friendly and they do a vast range of drinks, cakes, snacks the hot chocolate is delicious, the staff and service was excellent, we all enjoyed our visit and will be returning sometime soon I’m sure. Well worth a visit.

Visited whilst on a walk, quiet on a Saturday afternoon, a few locals in. No food on offer, beer OK.

My partner and I had to be at Wolfhampcote church (nearby) for a rehearsal at 1pm last Sunday, so I rang up the Old Olive Bush to ask if they could fit us in for lunch. They wouldn't normally have opened before 12.30, but Linda was determined that we wouldn't be late for our rehearsal, and offered to open up at midday. She also described the steak pie in such alluring terms that we placed an order for it immediately...and it lived up to the billing. Thank you, Linda, for a delicious lunch, and for being so helpful. We hope to come again!

Great venue for local artists and makers. Usually demonstrations taking place. Fabulous cakes and drinks available. It's not a pub anymore! Don't rate it low just because it's not been updated on here it is unfair! How do request a change of listing TripAdvisor?
