The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Compton Plymouth South West

I've eaten here several times and it has always been lovely. The food is delicious and the ingredients taste fresh. Great coffee. The portion sizes had reduced since the pandemic but the quality is still there. Kind, helpful staff too.

Ordered the French toast which was lovely! However extremely slow service which let it down! Didn’t even get an apology when it came out over 30 minutes late (was not busy either).

Interesting that there’s been a lot of interest since The Vault closed and the lease was up for grabs. A lively CBD cafe business called ‘Buddha Hut’, which started a year or so ago in Union Street then moved to lower Cornwall Street has now announced they are expanding again and have acquired the Mutley lease and will open at the beginning of November with a cafe selling lots of CBD coffee and food etc on the ground floor with the large basement given over to other CBD products.

Complete turnabout in these premises. Lot of surprise that it is now opening as Dino Barbers. Looks quite flamboyant but there are already a dozen similar barbershops along Mutley Plain.

Great food and drink selection and a nice atmosphere. I'd rate the food a 4 apart from Friday and Saturday nights when it gets really packed. They do a very impressive high tea in the daytime too! Food is good and reasonably priced but drinks are a bit pricey so great for a meal out but you need to check your bank account first if you are planning an all night session here. Plus side of this is it doesn't get rowdy..I go there at least once a fortnight!

Avoid at all costs. Unpleasant people who have no idea of a community pub. No care in the world other than themselves.

We buy pasties from hear most weeks, really disappointed with one of our pasties today, looked like Frankensteins Monster of a pasty, should have taken it back but meat a trip back to the shop, Really poor to sell such a misshaped product 👎
