AMAZING!! Hosted my friend’s baby shower here and Sophie and Molly were both fantastic in the planning and the service on the day. The food was so good and they even put a twist on the food to match our theme. So accommodating and value for money was spot on. Can’t wait to come back and will recommend to anyone who asks. I stumbled across Rise & Grind on a walk, it was evident that a lot of love and care has been put into the decoration. The staff were lovely and very attentive, there was a positive atmosphere. The coffee was good and I was particularly impressed with the presentation of the food. The view was beautiful and I appreciated the cohesive decor, a very relaxing space to enjoy. Overall I had a lovely time and hope to visit again soon.

Preston Rise Coffee Shop is an absolute gem! From their fabulous coffee and cake to their impeccable service,the ambiance is delightful, and the staff, especially Frankie, provide fantastic service. Highly recommend

Omg What a lovely venue, staff n food as My Suprise Birthday destination it was booked in advance for 16 of us, all the food Savoury & Sweet was freash made Excellent omg it just kept comming I can't list it all I was so full after every thing from Salmon, Salami, sweetchill, hams, cheeses, quiche, Scots eggs, cheese scones, plain n current scones, cakes like carot, banna & biscoff acompanied with I had Beetroot latte yummy Thankyou ❤

Great spot for brunch, easy access to the ferry's and right next to the historic Barbican. Lovely staff at a great price! 🤙

The most aesthetically pleasing café, with prime location, consisting of gorgeous views, not to mention the lovely staff and delicious food & beverage served. We have visited Rise & Grind a handful of times, as it’s our go-to when visiting friends in Plymouth. We have enjoyed coffee dates, brunches, celebrations, as well as light night snacks & drinks. Would recommend over and over again.

Great with family, friends, as a couple or taking yourself for a coffee and a cheeky cake! The team are amazing, the food is to die for with a regularly changing menu. Love love love the coffees, it’s glorious in the summer, but just as wonderful when it’s chilly sat inside. I cannot recommend it more - and certainly do to anyone asking where’s good for brunch, lunch or coffee. Tldr; the vibes are immaculate.

It was lovely to be out of the wind, enjoy the sun and see the Spanish Galleon. Got place for the cafe and the owners are working very hard to make it succeed. Call in and see for yourself.

Having discovered this place, I now find it very difficult to walk past. The staff always make me feel very welcome. On arrival I'm immediately provided with water and biscuits and they open a tab for me. They are human friendly too. The food is far superior to the much larger venues located nearby. Specific favourites are The cream Teas, the Harissa Baked Egg and the Salmon and Cream Cheese on gluten free toast..... Not to mention the gluten free carrot cake. Great coffee, good Wines and house cocktails make this a must place to eat and/or drink and one which I strongly recommend. The venue has recently fitted sliding glass doors which should now hopefully enable my human walking companions to be able to enjoy this place during the winter too. Stumbled upon Rise and Grind during the Pirate Festival. There was a show going on outside and our youngest got involved so we took the opportunity to grab a coffee each. The coffee was so nice, really decent quality. We then had a look at the menu and it was really appealing. I had a French toast, cheesy beans and poached egg combo for about £9. Really great quality food. Wife had a berry granola, again, lovely quality food presented really well. The service was absolutely spot on. Staff really attentive and as soon as guest left, the tables were cleaned and prepared for the next guests. Really good attention to detail.

Me and my other half absolutely enjoyed our visit. My Baileys coffee was very really good and the staff were fantastic. Thank you for the service!! Will definitely come back.

So friendly and changed a cocktail that suited me, so helpful. Dog friendly too which is great for us and free dog treats . Such a lovely atmosphere. outside and the view was so lovely. Thank you Molly

Had the best time today having my morning coffee, so beautiful to be able to sit in the sunshine feeling relaxed watching the day go by, received fantastic service and was one of the best flat whites I’ve ever had in my life!!! A stunning and clean venue and they had a wonderful menu! I had the French toast and it was honestly amazing Will deffo be back and highly recommend!

Came here for my birthday and they brought out a little cake and with a candle Lovely coffee Lovely brunch also came here after the Plymouth half for a glass of bubbly and the staff were lovely. I would recommend

I go here most Sundays and it’s just the perfect place for a coffee and some food. Breakfast is so nice , you have to try the banana bread. Always a little treat for the dogs which is a lovely touch and staff are always friendly. It’s worth a visit if your in the area

Very disappointed, nice venue, but staff member was so rude & unfriendly, no smile, just very abrupt. Shame as coffee was good & I am local, so was hoping to make this my daily coffee stop.

Its a decent location good service though needs the outside seating to feel more refined and at least semi permanent . Its too open and exposed from above and at seating level. I cant say that the coffee was much more than average , there are better places for coffee that dont rely on coffee for there core business.

Lovely sunny Sunday morning and after a walk round the Barbican sat here in the sunshine I ordered Harissa Baked Eggs something similar to a meal I had in Corfu it was delicious. The coffee is also very good and it all gave me a great start to the day also the staff are very caring Will be back

Popped in Saturday night on the recommendation of a friend. What a find! Lovely seating outside and delicious cocktails. Great selection of drinks and good service. Will be back to try a brunch.

Launched last week. Came down about 10.30 today for a wake up coffee and twenty minutes with the crossword. Very warm with light grey sky and, the mildest zephyr and a perfect view of the pilots and others dodging around the floating pier. Steady trade...

Absolutely stunning! I couldn’t fault any part of my experience there. Beautiful location, super friendly and welcoming staff.
