Bright, airy, clean, comfortable, spacious cafe with superb menu, fresh homemade cakes, excellent coffee and friendly welcoming staff. I couldn’t fault this place at all. I liked the little touches like the water station, where you could help yourself to mint water, lemon water or just plain water. Tables, Glasses and cutlery lovely and clean too. Easy to find parking in the car park opposite too. I had scrambled eggs and bacon on toast and the portion size was generous with the best cooked scrambled egg I have ever had. Well done Olive Tree … keep Up the excellent work.

I went to the crown pub shoreham today with my dad There today to drink I had some refreshing lemonade which I really enjoyed It was the best lemonade I have ever in the whole wide world It was lovely and cold and refreshing The staff that work there are very kind lovely polite The service there is very good amazing wonderful I had a very lovely experience there today at the crown pub shoreham This place gets it's very first 5 out of 5 star rating by me Have a lovely rest of your day 5 stars all around

Would never visit again after my recent experience; have been here a few times; usually good and I even forgave them for a burnt omelette once before. It was busy today but we were not in a rush, so that was fine. No paninis left (at 12.20pm! ) so my daughter had a ham / cheese toastie, which was ok. No smoked salmon either so I asked for a cheese /onion toastie. It was awful, the onions were like they had been fried for a burger. Yuck. So I took it back, and one lady insisted they weren't fried (my daughter said that was the taste, too). So finally, i got an egg mayo cress sandwich. Had a nice pot of tea and a J20. The courtyard really needs a tidy up, brambles, and overgrown flowerbed. Family of five, 3 generations, all agreed our worst ever Christmas dinner, and it was pre ordered. Not enough vegetables and poorly cooked. Roast potatoes soft and splodgy, sprouts undercooked, one piece of parsnip per person, and one meal had no parsnip at all. Turkey was ok., two slices, and one undercooked pig in blanket. This is the view of five of us who are usually uncomplaining. Staff were very nice.
