Wonderful experience would recommend Compton tea rooms, very friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate. Lovely sandwiches with very fresh bread and filled to brim filling, delicious cake and cup of tea to finish our experience. Will definitely go back to this delightful place.

Over priced and evidently understaffed - - £4.10 for a small coffee because it was with oat milk is ridiculous for this area - Good food when it finally arrived after 45 mins waiting but nothing special. Actually just wanted to leave after about 15 mins of arriving. So annoyed we drove 30 mins to this place and will not return.

We came to Stansted Park for the day for the first time and visited the farm shop as part of our time. The farm shop is in an attractive new building with a spacious layout. There is no doubting that they stock a very wide range of quality produce which is to their credit. The shop includes a butchers and deli. BUT and it is a huge BUT, the prices are DESPERATELY HIGH across the range of merchandise. As just one example a standard 370g pot of jam is priced at £4.65. The upmarket Bonne Mamam jams at Waitrose are normally £3.65 and are all currently on offer at £2.85. The Waitrose "Finest" range standard price is £2.40. We did several other comparisons with similar markups. Normally we might spend £15-25 at a good farm shop but this time we spent nothing. Interesting that the shop was empty for the time that we were browsing, although they must have a fair sales volume to stay in business!! With a background in marketing I can't help wonder if more competitve pricing would yield higher sale voumes and higher profits?? So if you are tempted to buy at least bear in mind the "premium-plus-plus" pricing! We'll comment separately on the rest of the Stansted location.
