GREAT GREAT FOOD and SERVICE from Christian and the team. The cafe has just been refurbished, and the menu refreshed to make it even better. A new coffee machine as well with a new blend of bean. Full of flavour, not bitter, very smooth. Sensibly priced as well, so it's not just for a lunch destination, it's for my sausage sandwich in the morning, or my coffee and cake in the afternoon. Well sorted!

Second visit with family for food and we will come again. Best eggs benedict I have ever had and the Rodney burger is an absolute delight. The atmosphere is that of a family run pub, with snugs and locals who ate all welcoming and friendly. Thankyou and see you soon

We visited the Butley Ash as we were passing by. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our table. Menus were left with us and specials described and drinks order taken. Drinks arrived and we were given plenty of time to choose from quite an extensive menu, both mains and lighter lunch options. When our food arrived it was placed down by a different member of staff ( also friendly and chatty ) . Food was excellent. Service spot on, checking all was OK throughout our visit and asking whether there was anything else required. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we’ve booked to visit again in a few weeks time. Fantastic little find its quiet and very pretty little pub with plenty of room. Food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They don't do table service outside, which is fine but they also don't bring starters and main separately, they bring them all out simultaneously which is a strange thing to do especially when its not busy.

Visited, whilst waiting for an appointment, for a coffee and a bun. Staff very friendly and the coffee was good. Facilities immaculate but at the top of a steep set of stairs which may be difficult for the elderly.
