We found this place by accident just walking along the Southbank when we spotted their sign directing us down the little lane. This place is definitely worth visiting. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. We were only there for coffee but very impressed with the overall menu. My husband had the pork sausage roll and I had their carrot & pecan cake with orange cream cheese frosting. Both were fresh, homemade and very tasty. If you’re in that neck of the woods and don’t want to resort to using the usual chain coffee houses we highly recommend this place.

cent to this place upon recommendation from a work colleague , Tried the Avocado Chicken and bacon focaccia sandwich and loved it , so today went back for more .. This time i had the Hot salt beef sandwich with mustard and gherkins again in Tomato Focaccia bread , And WOW ! , The beef was so tender and flavorsome , The gherkins gave a nice crunch to the sandwich and the mustard ( Colmans English) added the bite. Id happily eat this everyday. Nice one Munchies

Great café with a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. Had lunch here before visiting the Imperial War Museum, which isn't too far of a walk. I had ordered a the chicken and sun-dried tomatoes panini with freah mint tea, both of which would great. Would recommend if you were wanting to eat outside of the IWM or if you so happen to be in the area for other reasons.

Mal servicio al cliente, sobreprecio, buen café pero nunca volverá a ir, no estoy seguro de cómo este tipo de cafés piensan que pueden sobrevivir con este tipo de servicio al cliente

Held mine and my husbands joint 40th birthday party here, in the Upper Arch area. From the start of contacting them, the communication with Steve was great and he was very quick to respond with any queries I had. The venue worked perfectly for our party, and we were happy with the food offered, the quality of drinks - and how well the space worked. There were lots of bar staff so no-one was waiting for drinks very long - and the DJ (also Steve!) was great too - playing some very good music, which got all our guests dancing. A thoroughly enjoyable night. Thank you.

Amazing service, fantastic food and plenty of gin and cocktails. The best club sandwich around. Perfect way to start to celebrate our anniversary. ❤️

I had an outstanding experience at Great Guns Social for our 10 year anniversary. The staff, particularly Pepa, demonstrated excellent communication leading up to the event. Beni and the team ensured everything ran smoothly on the night, from well-set tables with name tags to prompt service of delicious starters and mains. The tiramisu was a delightful finale, and overall, guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Decided to book as it was early evening on a Friday and we had seen how busy other places in the area were during the week. Initially thought we may have made a mistake as when we arrived the large restaurant area was empty. But once the food arrived we knew we had definitely made an excellent choice! Between the 3 of us (2 adults, 1 teenager) we ordered quite a selection of dishes, all of them really good, but the standout ones for us were the lentils and the paella. If we stay in the area again we will definitely be going back.

In the spring of 2024, we embarked on what was meant to be a quick weekend escape to London. After wandering through the lively Borough Market, our journey took an unexpected turn. On our way to continue sightseeing, we stumbled upon a hidden gem: a small, unassuming coffee shop perched right at London Bridge. Little did we know, this chance encounter would become the pinnacle of my trip. What can I say? This wasn’t just ordinary coffee — it was a revelation. The best coffee I’ve ever had, without a doubt. The kind that lingers in your thoughts long after the last sip. And now, London calls to me once again. Yes, for its storied history and its iconic sights, but first and foremost: the coffee at The Gentleman Baristas. I’ve since learned they ship their roasts, so I can attempt to recreate that magic at home. But, let’s be real — as my girlfriend constantly reminds me when I rave about that experience, nothing will ever compare to tasting it right there — in the heart of London. So, Gentleman Baristas at London Bridge; this is not farewell. It’s merely, "Until we meet again."
