Monmouth Coffee in Southwark

A thrilling coffee experience, just arrived in London and catches this cafe and I was attracted by the smell and busy scene which means it must be good! Try it, love it. Also beans are available. 非常好的咖啡体验，咖啡爱好者不能错过！就在集市旁，你一定不会错过，热情的员工和众多食客。推荐他各种咖啡哦。也售卖咖啡豆

Overpriced, no service, no place for sitting. Food was like from tesco. Nothing special. Croissant was fat and coffee average. I do not recommend it.

Monmouth street coffee shop. This is a well reviewed establishment so we were unsurprised to have to wait a short while to be seated on one of the shared tables in the small seated area. There is an impressive range of speciality and house coffee, knowledgeable staff and almond croissant that were off-the-scale delicious. I wish I lived closer.

Wir waren auf dem Boroughmarket und haben dann dieses Café entdeckt, super leckeren Kaffee, mit Kleine Pastries, der Preis ist mehr als angemessen, Sitzplätze sind wenig vorhanden aber dafür auch kleine Stehplätze. Scheint ein Insider Tipp zu sein denn es waren dort sehr viele einheimische. Bedienung war auch sehr sehr freundlich, alle hatten Spaß an ihre Arbeit ☘️👍

What an incredible find. The customer service hear is great, and the Oat Milk Flat White is simply delicious. Well-done to all the staff for the great set service

Coffee here is nothing special - queues are long and seats are scarce! Only redeeming grace was that it was perched along the picturesque pavement.

Grab and go coffee shop. Be swamped by the aroma of coffee beans and freshly prepared coffee when you walk into the shop!

Had a a very welcome americano and croissant on a cold November morning. Just what I needed to get me around Borough Market ! Top quality reasonably priced. Efficient and friendly service.

Been meaning to try out this place for ages and so glad we did. The coffee has to be one of the best in London. We had a flat white and I had an americano and was maybe the best americano I've ever had..yes, that good... Get some food from any of the great stalls in the market and this is heaven.. Not knocking Monmouth's food BTW.......just that we got food already elsewhere...

Their coffee is obviously amazing but their croissant was sublime! The staff are very nice as well. Worth queuing up for. Made my morning, thank you!

Monnow Street is being made one way traffic so is undergoing major roadworks at present. However there are several large carparks to use as street parking is very limited. Lots of coffee shops like Salt & Pepper who have tables outside at the moment, Estero Lounge which is a bar/ cafe, Cafe#1, Costa and evening Waitrose has a cafe so choice is plentiful. Market days are Friday & Saturday I think but it’s only small. Lots of seating by the river near the bridge and a large green area at the back of Waitrose. Nice clothes shops but some very expensive, however if you like charity shops then there are several. Home Bargains, Waitrose and Iceland are very clean stores with great variety of food stuffs to suit all budgets. I enjoy a few hours in Monmouth quite often. I’ve been to The Savoy Theatre which is really lovely and the oldest theatre in Wales run by volunteers, so they need the public to attend shows. The Blake Theatre is modern in comparison. All in all a great place to visit.

Had a couple of coffees from here while visiting the area for a few days, good coffee, much better than the usual chain coffee shops.

E quando eu digo que é o melhor, pode acreditar, pois moro aqui há 11 anos e nunca tomei um café tão gostoso quanto esse. Cheguei até aqui por recomendação de um inglês que trabalha comigo. A fila estava gigantes, mas não demorou muito pra chegar na minha vez, o atendimento é rápido, são dezenas de pessoas trabalhando atrás do balcão. Também experimentei o croissant e o chocolate brownie, estava perfeito, pareceria brigadeiro do Brasil de tão divino. Se você estiver no Borough Market ou na região de London Bridge, não deixe de vir conhecer esse lugar!

This coffee shop is always busy but is well worth the wait for perfect coffee and a nice range of cakes. The coffee is well priced for the quality and of course you can take-away too !

A real Borough Market institution - great coffee - great location. However be prepared to queue, but worth it.

Staff are well organized and equipped to handle queues. They are knowledgeable, friendly and quick. And the coffee is great!
