Absolutely love Food Room, the food is superb, cooked with love! Coffee is delicious, juices are brimming with flavour. Drove 25 miles to have my birthday breakfast here. Thank you x

It's never open at the advertised times

Very cute cafe in Queen’s Wood. Pastries and coffee were great but not worth the wait. Waited for an hour in line for 3 coffees and 2 pastries. Might’ve been busy because it was a sunny Sunday, would recommend going but on a less busy day!

I certainly will never go to the place again. I am a vegetarian and my girlfriend has an allergy which means she can't eat ham or it will make her ill. I ordered 2 mushroom and 3 cheese ciabattas and they served us with ham and cheese ones. There was no question about what I ordered and I complained and I was accused of lying and I had to push to get my money back. The staff were very rude and the man behind the counter was extremely rude and aggressive. I would warn off anyone going there. It was absolutely horrible.

Service was great when store opened but has now become inconsistent. Went in for an ice cream and was served by someone who was at best indifferent. Handled cone with bare hands and proceeded to provide the smallest cone I can remember ever having. Poor service. Poor hygiene. Poor value.

Great little place selling a wide array of food. Seating (limited) on ground floor and the basement.

We went around 10am and asked for tea, coffee and two cooked breakfasts to eat in. We were given the drinks to take to our table but my tea came in a cardboard cup. I pointed out that I was eating in and could I please have a real cup but was told that he didn't have any. When I pointed out the row of cups on the shelf behind him he then told me that people stole the real cups, and they cost a fortune to replace (he took out a box of new cups and showed them to me to prove his point) so no I would have to have a cardboard one. When I then noted that everyone drinking coffee had a real cup, he dug his heels in and insisted that I couldn't have a cup. I probably should have left then but we had paid, so I went to our table spilling hot tea on to my hand as the flimsy cardboard cup buckled. I was then given the wrong breakfast, along with one other woman on another table. When I eventually got my correct order (my tea - what remained of it was cold by now), the food was actually very good and the portions were generous. Just give your paying customer an actual cup to drink from please!! Don't argue, lie or start lecturing on how much cups cost!!!!
