We used to live right next door to The Pineaaple pub back when it only served sandwiches. Even though we were right next door we always went to The Palmers arms as our local because it served a proper menu. Today we came back to The Pineapple for the first time since we moved away from the area for a gorgeous Sunday roast which was hands down an 11/10 from me! It had a great veggie option and had cauliflower cheese included in that roast when normally anywhere else you need to order this as an extra side. Service was 10/10 and the food was served promptly and everything was perfect ! Wish we still lived next door now!!! Brilliant transformation:D

We loved our lunch at Carrots and Daikon yesterday. I had the garlic tofu Banh mi and my husband had the tofu lunch box. The baguette forming my Banh mi was the perfect combination of crunch with a soft centre and the tofu was nicely garlicky. What really made our day were the ice creams! The chrysanthemum and mango ice cream was such a fantastic combination and the matcha and pistachio was delicious too. We then bought one of each of the other flavours and I must admit that the combinations are creative genius! Who would’ve thought that mint choc chip would go with coffee and raspberry and jasmine tea with its floral notes would hit the spot?! I thought that the coconut and lemongrass was super refreshing too. Thank you to the friendly folk at C & D.

Hermoso rollo. Realmente se siente como en casa tan pronto como entras por la puerta. Fuimos atendidos por Aoife cuya atención y conocimiento era excelente. Charcutería era excepcional. Regresaremos.

Vegano e sofisticato, questo posto è particolarmente adatto a studenti universitari che vogliono sorseggiare un caffè mentre leggono un libro. Il caffè e le torte non sono per niente male e l'atmosfera è piacevole ma costa parecchio devo dire.

Friendly atmosphere a great cup of tea and a top english breakfast cooked fresh. Cafes like this are a rarity in London .

Great place with a real personal touch. I cannot fault the service, atmosphere, expertise, professionalism and effort made by the team. Luckily it's not on my way home or I'd be in there most nights.

What a lovely venue, good food and drink, live music with a good atmosphere

Not to be confused with long gone Neighbour, this is called Neighbourhood Organic and is only open during the day. We went for breakfast but is was totally unsatisfactory. I didn’t read the small print and just wanted tomatoes on toast but it came with a lot of unwanted hummus on dry bread with a salad in a separate bowl. My friend had quite good scrambled egg but the mushrooms were again in a separate bowl, all three of them costing a £1 each. Plus the baffling salad. She said her bread was hard and dry. Coffee was good but with unenthusiastic service and a £26 bill we won’t be going again. There are other places better nearby.

🚇 Kentish Town 🍺 £6.80 Estrella Galicia The Vine is located on the border between Kentish Town and Gospel Oak in Northwest London. The nearest Tube is Kentish Town. Just up the road is Little Green Street, one of the few intact Georgian streets in London. This pub has a history dating back to 1836, the pub you see today was built in the Edwardian era between 1901 to 1910. This pub is part of Greene King’s Metropolitan pub company stable of pubs. The is a deceptively large pub that has a contemporary feel with some nice traditional touches. As you enter the pub you arrive into the main bar area which has a good sized servery. The decor consists of a boarded floor, exposed brick walls, a Dunville’s mirror and a mix of seating. To left of the servery, through an arch, takes you into a sizeable dining area with an atrium above. To the side of the dining area is a raised section with two shuffleboard tables. At the front of the pub is an attractive front patio garden. The beer selection was pretty decent and offered a choice of local London brews, one cask ale and some familiar keg favourites. I decided on an Estrella Galicia, my pint was spot on, price point was punchy. There is a classic pub grub menu available, Fish & Chips costs £18.50, roasts are available on a Sunday. We arrived around 5pm on a pleasant Saturday afternoon in May. The main bar had a dozen or so punters in, most punters were lapping up the sunshine out the front. There was a nice convivial atmosphere around the pub as we supped our pints and watched a bit of the Fury V Usyk build up with a soulful house soundtrack playing in the background. The service was good, the team member who served us although rushed off her feet was welcoming and courteous. INMHO Doppio makes the best coffee north of Milan! With a really great vibe! If you love authentic Italian coffee, then this is for you. Quirky in a good way, you are surrounded by mega expensive espresso machines and other related accessories with a workshop at the back. Staff are intelligent, friendly and efficient. And it is dog friendly! It is my regular....
