Haven’t tried the food but the service was friendly and the atmosphere very welcoming. A proper backstreet local.

El menú del almuerzo era un robo en £ 7. 50 para un plato principal. Mi Massaman de Carne estaba delicioso, perfectamente acompañado por la mitad de Piña Ale. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar!

Good to have a late lunch here. They offer a nice lunch deal for £7.5 only excluding drinks. Massaman curry was better than I had expected. A nice pub serving thai food in a calm neighborhood.

Food is terrible , lamb curry came with 4 pieces of beef . more like a rubber ..and ..when asked .they said meet coming frosen and because of that have that kind of looks . vegetarian curry was so salty .it could not be eaten ..Person we complained..was almost certainly stoned..

Great find in Kentish Town. Good selection of beers reasonably priced for London and yummy Thai food on the menu. Much better than your bog standard pub grub. Traditional pub feel with nice conservatory and garden too.

Nice old style pub in the back streets of Kentish Town. Very easy to get to from that station: cross over to the Assembly House, turn tight then left into Leverton Road, and the Pineapple will soon come into view on your left. Good choice of 3 ales, the eponymous Pineapple bitter was my favourite. I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food.

Very disappointing as half finished pints (I was drinking very nice plum porter) disappeared each time I went to use the toilet (happened twice!). Lovely staff, perhaps a little enthusiastic but no recourse unfortunately. It could have been an expensive evening!

I love it here. The atmosphere is incredible, with a bunch of different seating areas, such as the garden, conservatory and traditional pub type seating room. The Thai food is decent, I got the green curry which I LOVED but my friend ordered the drunken noodles which were a little dry, so maybe just ask the staff what they would recommend before ordering. Drinks are relatively cheap for the area, and the staff are super friendly!

I got food poisoning here and the manager was very rude. Also once saw keir starmer at the bar🤮🤮🤮🤮

Well done Kurk and Laura for keeping this old pub (tucked behind Kentish town) exactly as it's been for decades, with a bit extra, from what I remembered: the back garden, and classic top room for hire for functions.

Food is the best Thai food outside of Thailand (Paneng Curry). And I’ve LIVED in Thailand. Bar staff are slow and inattentive. The decore is great and good ambiance but the bar staff need to step up - a lot.

My friend and I, who are both East Asian, wanted some Thai food in our neighborhood. We walked in to the pub during lunch time. The only words the staff greeted us with was “are you here working for the kitchen?” I wished I cooked such good Thai food. But no thank you for your flattery 😊

It is Old school style pub, but it wouldn’t hurt to give the place a good clean every now and then

Came to The Pineapple, Keir Starmer's favourite pub, to celebrate his winning the election and becoming the Prime Minister. It has a very charming seating area on the ground floor with a cute garden where there's always nice music playing to add to the ambience. Or you can go upstairs for a quieter atmosphere. They have a Thai kitchen which we didn't try this time. You have to whisper if you're lingering/smoking outside the pub as the neighbours are known to be touchy about the noise. I hope the Pineapple doesn't fall to its death like many other pubs in London which are shut down because of people buying prime real estate in the cultural hubs of London and then killing the culture with noise complaints.

Probé la house ale, la Pineapple Ale, que disfruté. Para mi comida, tuve la Thai Dim Sum (gambas fritas y cerdo) y la Pad Ka Prow (gambas con ajo, chiles, cebollas, verduras mixtas y albahaca tailandesa). La comida era buena con una buena cantidad de picante sin ser abrumador. Me gustó la abundancia de luz natural que iluminaba el establecimiento.

This is a revised review since my last. The food is great, with loads of flavour and very fresh. Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be coming back.

Have been quite a few times now for lunch and after work. The food is fantastic and the staff are friendly. If you can, sit in the conservatory, it's very comfortable!

Fantastic pub, Kentish Town pub, favoured by the locals with excellent food options.

Good atmosphere ( can feel a bit loud but ok) and friendly and fast bartenders. You can get good Thai food for £8-10 and they surprisingly go very well with pub drinks. Interior is nice too.

Good real ale for a good price - always well staffed too so never queueing for long when getting a pint. The quiz is good as well. Lots of character to the inside & the outside conservatory and patio. Great pub!

Went here for the Easter 🐣 Beer Festival and it was like Christmas time. Getting inside, and especially the bar, proved rather challenging! The staff were wonderful and the toilets were clean. I only stayed here for a little while as it was so packed out

My friend booked the upstairs area for her birthday party and it was lovely! You can order a few bottles of wine and plates of food but if things run out you can go downstairs and grab a drink anyways. There was also a tv and speaker that you can connect your phone to and play your own music on. The only downside was we weren’t allowed to tape decorations to walls.

We stopped in at this little Irish bar close to our hotel on the night of Saint Patrick’s day. It will be an experience we talk about for a long time to come. The staff was so welcoming the food unbelievable and the atmosphere just off the chain, thanks for letting this American chick sit in and sing along with you. Best Saint paddy’s day ever!

An absolute hidden gem. Lovely old pub with traditional, cozy decor. Lots of seating, both inside and out with a great back garden. The staff are friendly and attentive. They serve wonderful Thai food during lunchtimes and in the evenings, superfast delivery to your table. You can find the menu on their website. I've been here twice for dinner with friends and will definitely be returning.

Great value food and good atmosphere

I recently visited this pub with family and friends. One of our party has a peanut and cashew nut allergy so I phoned ahead to check that they catered for allergy sufferers. I was assured that they did cater for people with allergies. We arrived and due to anxieties asked again and this time were told that they may be cross contamination. We were alarmed but were assured slightly by the fact that the menu had various allergy symbols against menu options. However, a glance into the kitchen made us nervous as we could see that a promise of non crossover contamination was ridiculous as the chef was using his hands to add ingredients from various sources and the same pans were being used to cook various dishes. The allergic person in our party started to have a reaction to the food very quickly after starting her meal and had to abandon it. The young manager was a little aggressive and claimed he had mentioned cross contamination in our earlier conversation in the day but had not. All in all, a very disappointing experience. If the restaurant has a menu with various symbols indicating possible allergy issues it is ridiculous if inside the kitchen, it’s size and set up mean there is no way they can guarantee it is a safe place for people who unfortunately suffer from allergies which can be potentially life threatening. Needless to say, the Pineapple pub proved to be an utterly disappointing venue.

Beautiful pub. Rachel, the assistant manager, always takes great care of me whenever I visit. Super friendly, hard working lady. She'll go so far with such a great work ethic.

Favourite pub! Cheap pints- great food!

I just witnessed the staff be berated in a meeting for half an hour while we ate dinner. At no point did the manager think while explaining how to pour a beer and stack the dishwasher that having a condescending conversation to his staff in front of customers was also not the greatest idea. I’ve been looking forward to visiting this pub but certainly won’t be supporting this management style.

The Pineapple is a superb local pub offering its' own Thai menu to satisfy your hunger. The beer is excellent with a number of cask ales on offer along with a variety of keg beers and ciders for those like me. A very homely place with lots of nooks and crannies to have a chinwag along with a delightful conservatory at the rear of the pub. Great beer and great service. A fine place to discover!

Popped in here after a walk through Hampstead. Was packed! Once I saw the menu I realised why. Amazing Thai food at fabulous prices. Incredibly quick service and food was tasty and fresh. Also very dog friendly and a sheltered garden area. Will definitely be back!

Been going to the pineapple for a while as it’s a really cosy and beautiful pub, a lovely beer garden and the food is also pretty good. However, I’ve been disappointed the last handful of times I’ve been by the attitude of the staff who serve you with such little enthusiasm that it actually comes across quite rude. I’ve even been met with eye rolling and sighs on occasion. Quite a shame because it is such a lovely pub, but it just makes you feel unwelcome as soon as you walk through the door.

I was visiting London, when I was invited by friends, to go with them for lunch at the Pineapple. We ordered a number of dishes, Thai food, well cooked and at a reasonable price. There was an excellent draught beer selection too. Well done, Pineapple!

Went here for the first time in a while. Absolutely lovely atmosphere and Mo and Scarlet are fantastic. Super attentive and helped me with my order - couldn’t have asked for more! Whoever is looking after them during this season, they def deserve a bottle of wine!! 🖤🖤

Well established authentic pub in a quiet street. Tuesday has a discount on wine. Very good Thai kitchen lunch and dinner. Good mix of guest ales that are frequently updated. Front bar is very homely with open gas fires in the winter. Large covered garden area at the back. Very cozy feel. One of three pubs in the area run by the same people, and all are good.

Fantastic pub tucked away in a side street. Great beers and friendly staff. And they also do Thai food. Really enjoyed my pre gig beers and dinner. Will definitely be back.

Amending this review based on the Thai lunches, which used to be a delicious delight and a bargain to boot but in recent months have been a real let down. Today, the food came out in less than 10mins, obviously quickly reheated. My Pad Thai was incredibly bland and the prawns overcooked. Not what it used to be..
