I would visit for the outdoor seating alone it’s so nice. Drinks are decent too but a little expensive. It’s deffo one of those places where you’re slightly paying for the atmosphere, but I think it’s worth it

Stand up comedy venue , and everything else

Used to love it here way more previously, the veg and vegan options are becoming limited. This is my petition to bring back the Avo toast, Korean Cauliflower and Halloumi Wrap please!!

We had our wedding reception at The Vine pub in June 2024 and it was absolutely perfect. We chose it because of its location near to our church in Kentish Town and because we could hire the whole venue for the day and evening. Hollie the pub manager was totally fantastic from our very first enquiry, to discussing our plans, giving us ideas and advice, arranging menu and wine tastings, creating beautiful table place name cards, accommodating flower and cake deliveries, and organising the other staff to provide exactly the wedding reception that we wanted. We had a 3 course meal for around 90 people and the food was absolutely outstanding. Everybody commented on how delicious their meals were. The service was top notch too with very little waiting between courses. The waiting staff were excellent and very attentive bring more wine or water when required and make sure everyone had what they wanted. We also had an evening buffet and again the quality of food and the presentation was outstanding. The chef also cut and served our wedding cake. All the staff were so lovely, friendly and professional, we could just relax and leave everything in their hands so we could fully enjoy our day. Absolutely everyone enjoyed themselves and commented on how perfect the venue was with the different rooms and spaces providing something for everyone. The shuffleboard was very popular too! We would recommend The Vine to anyone looking for a wedding or party venue and cannot thank Hollie, the chef and all the amazing staff enough for helping to make our day so special. Kate & Mario

Wife and I stopped by here while visiting friends in the Camden area. Had a great beer and some fish and chips.

Popped in for a bit of lunch and wasn't pleased with £18 for a fake Chicken "Pie" if there's NO Base -It ain't a Pie!!! The Salad was a chopped piece of iceberg lettuce w/o anything else and the mash potato was Hard and inedible. Happy eating elsewhere 😘

Decent pub with some outside seating. Nice vibe, a mix of people watching sport & people just enjoying the sun on my visit. Had the chicken Kiev & chips which was tasty.

We got together to celebrate my friend's 60th birthday and we had a great time. We were asked to give our food order in advance of the day to make sure that they had enough food for everyone, which we did. However, it was a little disappointing that not long after we all got there and settled in, we had to get all our food courses, starter and main (plus birthday cake) at the same time because the restaurant was due to close. Not great if you want to have a leisurely meal! The whole event was saved by the service of all the great staff members, particularly Fiinn and Nik.

We had our wedding party at the The Vine in February and could not recommend it more highly. From the start Hollie the pub’s manager was extremely helpful, communicative and flexible to help us plan the celebration we wanted to have. All the staff were very professional and friendly - they know how to cater for big events and are great at making sure things happen when they should! The pub itself is very spacious and was decorated beautifully for our party. The back room is perfect for a mini disco, but there’s plenty of space round the bar and in the snug room (and shuffle board tables!) for those who need a breather from the dance floor. The catering they offered was also perfect for the celebration we wanted to have - with reasonably priced tasting platters of delicious party food. There’s also a great range of drinks, including excellent espresso martinis on tap. All in all, a great pub, staff and venue for a big party - could not have asked for more for our wedding celebration!

I’ve visited this pub a few times and it is quite a nice one, mainly for its outdoor seating! The inside space is a little limited and sitting by the door can be quite cold It’s situated between Gospel Oak and Kentish Town stations which makes it pretty easy to get to! The experience at one point however was let down by the lady serving us mishearing our order and when mentioned afterwards, it just being shrugged off in a rude manner which isn’t what you would expect when a pint is quite expensive!

Great venue for a big boozy birthday lunch for 22 - Sunday roasts were delicious, the atmosphere is always good. Staff are very warm and friendly and very accommodating. Play a bit of shuffleboard, watch the footie or rugby, sit in the big beer garden - everything is good at The Vine

We enjoyed a big birthday gathering here for 30 friends on Sunday - and had a fabulous time. The staff are super friendly and accommodating - and made sure we had a good time. We ended our afternoon with some shuffleboard. Really recommend this place. We go back time after time and are not disappointed. We love you guys. Thank you!

Celebrated a friends 60th this Sunday 25th Feb and we all had a delicious roast, served by great people in a lovely setting. Followed by some shuffleboard action. Love the place. Thanks. Gary

Lovely Sunday roast! Had the beef which was nice and rare, veg and roast potatoes were good the only downside for me was I like a nice hot horseradish not a cream, but that’s just me being picky. Definitely would come again. Forget to take a before photo!

Good vegan roast. Great for dogs brought over a little bag of dog treats and water bowl- nice touch. Nice pint of guiness as well. Great pub for a Sunday afternoon after a walk on the heath

Very nice pub especially in the summer time but also in the winter for incredible selection of pints and nice atmosphere. Nice exotic pints you don’t usually see on tap such as estrella Galicia and Jubel. Recommend this place definitely.

We had a table of 4 this evening, x2 couples and both servers were great. Sophie, and another server who was incredible friendly and observant. I hope management see this and commend her. Locals and will be back. Also great veggie and vegan options and good pint of Guinness.

I was part of a group of about 20 of us or so. The waitress did very well to manage us but neglected to mention a 12.5% service charge which was also charged for drinks. So, I was going to go up to the bar and buy a pint there as I usually do, but was kindly told not to worry, they’d bring drinks over. Okay I thought. Some time later my drink arrived and I finally got to place an order for food - it took 15 minutes or more and I thought she’d forgotten about me so I it would’ve been far better if I’d gone to the bar myself. She was very busy though but you know… Of course, these days, you sometimes need to ask about the cost of a pint in London pubs generally, but this place with the additional 12.5% really takes the cost of a pint (or two) to new heights. It would have been far kinder and more honest if they were up front about the unusual service charge and told me the price of the pint I was interested in before ordering. The food was ok (2.5 stars not 3) due to quality/price. I ordered a burger and chips - the chips were meant to have their skins on but turned out to be extremely salty skinny fries very little different from McDonald’s own fries (except they were even saltier). Not much in the way of garnish provided except for a little lettuce in the burger itself - well, no salad at all. I guess vegetables and far too expensive these days to act as simple adornment. Never got the ketchup or vinegar I asked for. We dined in the back part of the pub, which has a strange atmosphere to me. It’s really dark and feels like a morgue but that’s largely a subjective feeling I’d say. The front of the pub where the TV is, doesn’t really accommodate many people. That feels more lively but its layout means there’s not much space to actually sit therein. I’ve been in this pub several times now but it’s not a pub I’d like to go back to. I don’t feel good leaving this negative review but I’ve experienced far better elsewhere here in Kentish Town that didn’t leave me feeling I’ve been somewhat taken advantage of. Now I’ll have to wait a few months to save my pennies before I can afford to buy alcohol at a public house once more.

This place is amazing for catching up with friends. Nice spacious area in the back to dine or you can jump on one of their shuffleboards for a more casual setting. Great food! I had the lamb Shepard's pie, was absolutely Devine! Staff were amazing and very friendly, no question was too much. Will be back :-)

Walked in and all tables are too close, very difficult to get a seat, had 2 curries and chicken was overcooked and hard, always rated curries down here but today was underwhelming to say the least, tried to tell waiter about the food and i just got laughed at and he walked away. Was well pleased with that

I want to thank the team at the Vine for a great party- we had 100 people of all ages and it all went so smoothly and everyone had such a good time! Lots of compliments from our guests on the food, the space and the atmosphere. The team did a great job in the lead up and on the night. Definitely a party to remember and would recommend the Vine.

We love coming to the vine as an office and have recently used it for our annual pub quiz. Everything ran smoothly and was set up and ready to go when we arrive. Food came out on time and was a hit with everyone! The staff as always, were so helpful and no question wasnt to annoying!! Thanks for having us, we will be back soon!

We had our wedding here and it could not have been a better choice. The staff was outstanding at getting everything organised and the food was absolutely delicious. All of our friends commented on the scotch egg in particular and how it was the best they had ever had. Really grateful to Hollie and her team for a great day!

A last minute family gathering and wow did these lot deliver! We needed somewhere children were welcome and adults could have a chat and catch up. We were given a side room next to the bar that comfortably fitted us all. All of the bar staff were absolutely amazing! Showed the children how to play shuffle board and showed them where there board games where. Accommodated us completely! No ask was too much! Nick behind the bar was an absolute delight! Hats off to all that work there, they always go above and beyond to make every feel welcome and I will continue to come back.

Would 100% recommend the Vine as a wedding venue. My husband John and I got married there in August (100 guests) and had a magical day. The venue staff worked really hard to accommodate our wishes in the lead up to the day and everything went like clockwork on our wedding day. The venue itself is great (freshly decorated and with a lovely beer garden) and also accessible. The food was delicious and the executive chef team was able to come to several compromises for guests with varied dietary requirements. Hollie the manager, and Billy (asst. manager) were friendly and great to work with.

What a delightful bit of fun. The Vine offers plenty of beers and wines (note to real ale drinkers.. Only 'Abbot' appears to be on today). A lovely place with a big outdoor area at the front and a great restaurant area to the rear, along with a couple of Shufel boards (tables) just for fun. There is also a good fun looking menu offering everything from aranci to bangers and mash, and avocado toast. All tastes catered for.

We had a wonderful dinner and a bottle of vine at The Vine. It was a very busy Friday night, but the staff Nik, Flinn and Aiden still looked after us brilliantly finding us a cosy spot outside the main dining area as there were some boistrous guests there. We received great service and the food (burger and seabass) was absolutely delicious. We'll be back again.

Roast dinner was tasteless and stale, children’s burger and chips were horrible. Would not recommend to have roast dinner or food there very expensive for what it is and tastes disgusting.

Lovely dinner. The service was great- thanks to Sophie. My only complaint is the acoustics- they could do with dampening the sound in the back room- especially when loud games are being played

Hollie and Billy were very accommodating and a great help! We hired the room at the back for reception drinks after our kids Christening. We organised food and drinks with Hollie beforehand and planned how we would like the day to go together. Billy was great at helping me set up to the speakers to play my own music. All the staff were friendly, great service, lovely room and everyone had a great day! We pre-ordered hot sharing platers and sandwiches that came out at two different times to keep everything a bit more fresh, all the food went down very well too! Thank you for all your assistance, we had a great day!

Enjoyed the beer and the shuffle board, but when we tried to order food the service was absolutely terrible. No real effort, no understanding of gluten free food, and when we said that we were leaving the waitress simply walked off with no apology. Terrible, terrible service.

Went for Father’s Day today, 12 of us, 8 adults and 4 children and everyone was catered for. Amazing food! Hats off to the chefs! I’m a fussy eater and asked for certain things on my roast and they did everything I asked. The staff were so attentive, we never had an empty glass on the table and the children (and adults) also enjoyed a few games of shuffle board. Would highly recommend! Great service! Also the dads where given a special gift bag at the end of the meal such a special touch

Great Customer service by madeleine, she was very welcoming and attentive. I ordered the special on Wednesday wings 6 for 3 pounds and the flavor was amazing! Also cooked to perfection. Also, the short rib burger was great! Cooked just right even tho they didn’t ask how I want it cooked, they nailed it for me! Great patio for seating options and inside its very cozy and chill. Over all… great place.

To be honest very deceiving from the outside, my first visit here unfortunately there was no ale on tap but had an interesting zesty fruity pint of signature and was pleasantly surprised 🙂 so thanks will be back to try the ale cheers 🍻

Nice place but don’t get the Caesar salad, it’s soo small. Pic attached I hadn’t even taken a bite and it was £15!! I’ve never complained about food at a restaurant before in my life but I had to say something because I was actually shocked. The first staff member I spoke to was rude but then a nice woman came over who to be fair gave me a free portion of chips and took 20% off the bill and explained they are part of a food provider group that dictates portion sizes and the pub itself can’t do anything about it. I’ve gone 2 stars because she was nice

Brilliant lunch time dinner, great food and great service.

We booked The Camden Room at The Vine for my daughter's bridal shower. Hollie couldn't have been more accommodating and answered my numerous and frequently silly questions promptly and courteously. There were 30 guests in total and we ordered the vegan sharing platters, which I was worried about in case there wouldn't be enough food. Needless to say there was plenty and it was all delicious. The staff were so, so helpful and even assisted us with putting up decorations as we couldn't reach. There was nothing more they could have done to make the evening a success with everyone going way above and beyond what a customer could expect in their wildest dreams to help. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Thanks to all involved.

Decent pub, buzzy on Friday eve

Had a work meeting all day, they accommodated our group of 20 really well and ensured that we had our own space and they check in on us often.

Nice pub. Loads of space. Outdoors is kind of sheltered from the road so a good option post dog walks on the heath.

This is our 4th or 5th time here for Sunday Roast and it never disappoints. It is always tasty and satisfying. Best of all is the staff who are friendly and accommodating. I kept bugging the bartender, Maddy, for extra glasses and bottles and helped us with quickly and with good humor. Our servers and hosts were efficient and friendly the whole afternoon. So enjoyable.

Lovely roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Apparently the pork was good too. Surprisingly good wine for a pub- advised a 2004 Rioja by great bar tender Maddie. Thanks Maddie, we had a delicious meal!

The Vine, 8.2/10 Cracking beer garden here. We turned up fairly early and didn’t get to experience it at it’s fullest. But it’s an absolute recommendation from us for a sunny day. The waiters in here took a fair while to get about to us, which was strange as it wasn’t too busy. We weren’t bothered though, happy to nurse a few in the sun and chat our usual breeze to anyone that’ll listen. We asked for the bill and were sat waiting for some time again. Usually, we aren’t the types to ask again and again but we were on a tight pub crawl schedule. Time to embrace our inner middle-aged men. There were no staff to be seen. Hmmm. Eventually found a hidden floor panel that led to a basement. Walked in to see all their staff members dressed in robes. Turns out they were using a South Londoner for a blood sacrifice to the pub gods in an effort to bring in more customers. Pretty good idea, actually. Put a 10 pound note in the tip jar and left. In fact, we think 8.2 is too low. Let’s bump that up to an 8.3 instead. Reviewed 22/06/21 on @northlondonpints Instagram.

Great spot in Kentish Town and definitely had the vibe of an old meets new type of pub. Food, beer, and setup were all on point. I will be making recommendations about this place.
