Great pub and a very nice roof terrace ! The food is great and despite not drinking IPA myself they have an abundance of options.

This is where I meet with colleagues and friends. It has a nice atmosphere with a good food menu and friendly staff

Staff are great and very friendly. The Guinness here is the best I’ve had around. Food great as well, had chorizo sausages to start and steak for main. Lots of space and a terrace upstairs.

The staff at the pub were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the terrace area was a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Table for 6 booked, pub was as decent enough, staff too busy with their faces planted in his phone. The food ordered was 5 burger and chips and 1 fish and chips took 45 minutes and they forgot the fish n chips, burgers were served cold and were the so dry that it was a struggle to eat. Pretty poor, don't think we'll be back

Fantastic roof terrace hidden in the centre of busy London. The food was amazing and the staff were so lovely especially Luis!

I came in with my wife and two kids. They were all very bubbly and patient with the kids. Jess in particular went above and beyond. We will be returning soon

Mixed bag. I ordered the roast chicken and most of the food was really good. However the star of the show the chicken was small and overcooked (dry)and took a lot of gravy to "wash" it down. The rest of the food was really good but portion size of the roast for both the chicken and the roast beef was very underwhelming for the price. Service was slow, very slow. Atmosphere was fine but the table next to me were so upset about the small meat portion size that they complained to the manager and got up without eating or paying.

I got a Sunday roast from Too Good To Go, and it was a fantastic surprise! Portion-wise, there was plenty—tender roast meat, crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a generous serving of vegetables with rich gravy. The taste was just as good as a proper dine-in meal, making it great value for money. Seeing what they had to offer, I might just visit for a proper Sunday lunch next time. It’s also great to know they’re participating in Too Good To Go, helping to reduce food waste while offering delicious meals at a bargain!

Very nice Sunday roast except not enough potatoes, three potatoes is not enough by half. I would recommend you add a pound or two to the price and add more roasties. Staff were friendly, place was clean, candles were on. I wouldn't have bothered having the sport on TV though, would have been better with the fire on. Overall though very nice.

We held our work Christmas party at The Carpenters Arms and it was a great night. The staff were lovely, and the food was a huge hit! The fried chicken was incredible - everyone needs to try it. I would recommend the venue to anyone looking for somewhere to hold a party.

Group of 8 or so really liked the atmosphere in the back room. Also the Tea guest ale was excellent.

Absolutely terrible experience, booked dinner for four people at 7.30pm on a Tuesday. We found our table upstairs, nobody paid any attention to us, eventually we went to the bar and ordered food ourselves. The staff member was pretty inexperienced. Next thing, they told us the food would be delayed by 30 mins. We said that we would wait - bad decision! At 9pm, our food was finally delivered. If it wasn’t bad enough, they didn’t give us any cutlery. The waitress then gave us knives, but said there were NO FORKS. So we had to wait for five more minutes to get a fork - so that we could eat this food that we’d been waiting at least 60 minutes for. The worst part was; there was absolutely no apology, nothing mentioned by the staff, we had to pay for our full bill. I don’t blame the inexperienced staff - I blame whoever is managing this place, because the training is terrible and the kitchen management is clearly not good. It was a Tuesday!!! How was it so badly organised and delayed!! Everyone had booked tables in advance, it wasn’t even very busy upstairs - it doesn’t make sense. I’ve worked in service for 5 years in the past, I never leave bad reviews, but this was honestly the worst dinner experience I’ve had in London.

The food is hit and miss! We have had food here and loved it and other times, it’s horrible, cold and bland! The bangers and mash and the best and worth trying!

The staff is very friendly, specially Luis who makes an incredible espresso martini! Highly recommend to try

On the weekends, it's a great pub to get away from the insanely busy Oxford Street! Friendly bar staff and warm atmosphere. Comfy seating booths as well as dining chairs. I enjoyed my first Mulled Wine of the season. 🎄❄️☃️🍷 Merry Christmas, everyone!

I made a booking for 15 people to have a “Sunday roast in celebration of my birthday “ and was completely let down. Not only did we walk in to find 2 separate tables (which we asked to combine and were left with no one to help us so we had to move them ourselves) but then when all my guests had arrived, we were told that the Sunday roast we had come for, were all sold out (as they only order 20 of each and apparently by 13:30 on a Sunday had already sold out knowing that my booking of 15 people were all expecting a roast). My friends and I were extremely disappointed and then further annoyed as the food we did have to order in the end was clearly not made fresh but defrosted in a microwave and had no flavour and also took an hour and a half to come out. The whole place seemed to be understaffed and being run by two girls who had very little idea of what was going on. Thank god my friends have a good sense of humour because my “Sunday roast in celebration of my birthday “ was an absolute joke due to The Carpenters Arms being so ill prepared. I would not come back here.

I found the interior to be shabby and in need of renovation. There was hardly any staff and I spent my time walking around trying to find someone to place my order with. The food and drinks were good but in my opinion overpriced for what they wereP

We visited the Carpenter's Arms for my husband's 30th birthday and unfortunately felt really disappointed by our visit. It was meant to be a special occasion, but from start to finish it didn't feel like the staff were bothered if we had a nice time or not. The cake I had brought in separately to have after our meal was expected to be brought out by staff after we'd had our lunch, and as we were the only ones in the pub when we first arrived we thought this wouldn't be too much to ask - but this didn't have to happen so I had to organise this myself. The dietary requirements of gluten/dairy free I called in advance to check that could be accommodated for, were completely rubbish! even though I was promised they would have multiple options, it ended up just being a plain burger patty and chips - no sides or anything to go with it. The chips were stale and cold, so very underwhelming and overpriced. Bit gutted as it was meant to be a special occasion and it didn't live up to the reviews. However, the rooftop terrace was a really nice little spot for drinks and the actual pub itself was in a good location.

Glad me and my friends stumbled across this place since the location was very central. We came here on a Sunday evening and it was fairly lively but not uncomfortably overcrowded. Pleasant seating at the rooftop terrace. Atmosphere is very relaxing and all the staff were very helpful. I really enjoyed the fish and chips and the triple cooked chips gave it an edge. overall great pub, would definitely go again since it’s a convenient location and the staff were kind and welcoming. Really cute pub near Warren Street station. Loads of seats plus an outdoor terrace hidden away upstairs. The staff are always really friendly and there is a great selection of beer on tap and food - we come every week for the Tuesday quiz because we love it so much.

Run by a 23 year old and it shows. The pub is falling apart and not in a charming rustic way. Sat in the garden and most of the parasols were broken when we needed them as it rained on and off for the afternoon. The ladies toilets were in a horrible state and considering how much we spent as a group of 15 the staff were very rude. Come here if you're in the area but definitely don't bother if there's anywhere else you can go
