This is an exceptional restaurant which is a must visit if you are in the area. The tasting menu is great value and there was not one dish that was a disappointment. Imaginative and clever flavour pairing made for a complete experience. Staff were great and the whole place is clearly a labour of love. Do go!

It looked like a nice kiosk. Had all the kiosky things I’ve come to expect from a kiosk.

Always enjoyed it here, we are local and regulars - but last Sunday the lunch was not up to par. Our friends had the pork - one small slice and hers was very fatty so she really only had half a slice. My beef was tough and difficult to cut. One of the puddings was half the size it normally is, so all in all not good. Our friends won’t come again. So sad as we always enjoyed Sunday lunch here.

Food excellent We are regular visitors. Can we plead you to improve your cofee which is very poor. Do some research, the lavender restaurant produces excellent cofee, all done at a pressof a button. We are regular visitors. I hope this is constructive.

Excellent meal, with good portions and value for money. My wife and I had the curry deal. Curry and a drink for £14.00. I had the chicken tikka and a pint of beer and my wife had a vegetable korma and a white wine and tonic
