The food here is brilliant and well worth a visit. It is a quirky place as it sells jams and other tasty treats and it is also an antique shop with a good variety of items. It is close to the beach and worth a visit when out for a day trip!

Extremely disappointing is the only way to describe the food, we ordered the full breakfast & after a reasonable wait our food arrived. Unfortunately the food & the plate were soaked in cooking oil, watching the mushrooms & the bacon do the backstroke on the plate was not what you expect. The sausages appeared to be supermarket value range & the anaemic looking egg didn’t inspire much confidence either. The bacon was of similar quality & also soaked in cooking oil or whatever they drowned it in! The baked beans in the ramekin dish being the only real positive, even the toast was stone cold. We did mention the issue very discretely & they apologised but given that it wasn’t inexpensive you expect much better than what was slapped on the plate to be blunt.

Normally quite good; not today. After sitting down at a prepared table for 2 ,waiting for wife to collect tea, a member of gift shop staff came and cleared table beside. Most unwelcoming .Ignored my presence, didn't say anything or smile, and then chucked dirty tray down on table in front of me where I was sitting. Wiped other table, grabbed tray and left.....most miserable experience....staff need more training.

Had a quick lunch stop before heading 4 hours back home after a Norfolk break. Food was simple - quiche, jacket potato, salad etc but tasted good, fresh and homemade. And there was no problem bringing me extra butter - with a smile! Friendly service and a nice outdoor spot to sit with our dog. The shop looked good too, though we didn't really stop to look. It wasn't util we were home that I realised I'd left my coat outside... a phone call and a few days later and Emma had very kindly posted it back to me. I paid the postage but she still had to package it up and take it to be posted, which she did happily. Thank you!

We came here for lunch on a Saturday, ordered meals and tea and a slice of cake. The cake was disappointing very dry we left most of it. I was not given milk for my tea so asked a member of staff who was leaning against a wall doing nothing and was told I would have to go to the counter for it. She did not smile or have any customer service skills. So I queued again. On the plus side the omelettes, jacket potato and sandwiches were nice but rather overpriced.

Popped in this morning for a coffee and bacon roll.As we entered the coffee shop we were not even greeted politely but told quite abrubtly "not open til 10 o'clock" ! not "good morning, but I am sorry we are not quite open yet" which would've been a lot more polite and welcoming!!! we asked what the time was and a waitress said it was 5 to 10,so against my better judgement we said well we might as well just wait 5 mins then in the warm and browse around the shop area, we very nearly tuned around and walked out.Waitress took our order promptly when we dared to sit down at 10 o'clock. The coffee was good, but the bacon and sausage and sausage baps were awful ! dry bread, cheap spread, horrible tasting sausage and stale Pringles! there were 5 staff in there all beetling around, but not one came and asked if everything was ok,just talking amongst themselves like we weren't even there!so all in all rude woman (presume owner) poor service, less than average food. The atmosphere was awful, the tables are small and basic so not a pleasant area to sit in not comfortable or welcoming.According to previous complaints recorded on tripadvisor the owner Angie seems to defend herself by saying people should complain at the time and not on this site, but had we been asked we would've told them if anyone had have been bothered enough to ask ! so I'm afraid they get what they deserve and hopefully we can warn other people of our experience. Will definitely not be back and we are only local so will spread the word.Shame could be a lovely place but with all the odds and sods and overpriced bits and pieces it seems to be not one thing or another seems to have lacked itentity.Clear it out, stick to reasonably priced good quality rustic items, get rid of tat and make room for decent size tables and chairs.Get some good quality ingredients instead of basic, and get those girls some serious customer service training.

This is one of those cafés that you need to be careful when ordering, somethings are lovely but other things can be unpleasant. We visited twice, on our first visit I had sweet potato and butternut squash soup, which was gluppy and had a strange taste which I think was too much dried sage, my husband had the breakfast quiche which was lovely. On our second visit I had a bacon and eggs sandwich, the bacon was a very odd grey colour and the fat was still white so I think it had been boiled, my husband had a sausage sandwich which was ok but they weren't the best sausages. I was going to mention the bacon issues but no one came to ask us if everything was OK, they seemed to be too busy chatting. Worth noting is that the coffee is one of those push button ones, so it is just ok. We have in the past had some lovely food here but not in this particular occasion.

Went in for a light lunch but ended up having a pork roast dinner. The service was slow and I had to get up and get my own menus. The pork was a mixture of lovely melt in the mouth and too dry/tough to eat. All veg and potatoes, Yorkie was fresh and not frozen, but lacking in taste. There was way too much meat, too many potatoes and very little veg. The gravy was sparing and watery. They could do with reducing the price by a £, then serving half the meat, less potatoes and a bit more veg. We paid £22.50 for 2 roast dinners and 2 cans of diet coke. Also you are eating in the middle of people shopping. Both my partner and I were asked by a customer if we could serve her, as the lay out is confusing for customers. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The Granary has always been a venue for fabulous cakes, scones, breakfasts etc but now it has expanded and we went for a Christmas menu last week. Started with a generous bowl of mussels in white wine sauce. This was followed by a Traditional Christmas dinner which I cannot believe anyone could clear the plate including all the extra vegetables. One slight criticism is I would have liked extra gravy but a minor point. Finally there was Bailey's cheesecake which wasn't what I had expected for a cheesecake but was delicious. They are moderately priced and provide good home cooked food. Worth a try and then spend time perusing the crafts downstairs around the outside walls and the antiques upstairs. You might find bargain!

This is primarily a coffee shop so the range of hot food is somewhat limited, but there is nothing wrong with the quantity or quality of the food on offer. Decided to take a break from the drive to Norfolk, had seen this place on a previous visit, so decided to call in. The place is a delight, crammed with collectables, bric a brac & ideas for pressies. Looked at the menu, I chose a coronation chicken wrap and my husband chose a hot pasty with salad? Thought it was an odd combination when I saw the menu but ours is not to reason why! Mine was passable but the pasty only contained a sort of mince-type neat, no small pieces of ANY vegetable or gravy so was very dry to eat. Decided to have a piece of cake afterwards, chose a date/ginger slice - again dry - covered in, it seemed to me, shortbread crumbs which fell away as I tried to eat it. Sorry, not pleasant. On a lighter note, the 'antique place' upstairs was a delight which evoked many happy memories. Bought a couple of items at very reasonable prices. We will try the coffee shop again in case we just visited on a not so good day!

Lots of notices to read, which were over kill, and the table could have done with a little rearranging and it was difficult to get between them. Typical coffee shop prices for drinks and eats. The building would be much better if they had the whole use of it, rather than sharing with a carpet retailer. It is old and has high original beams, but I was a little concerned about the cobwebs up there. But after all this it was worth a visit.

We have been to the Granary on many occasions now. The cakes are always amazing as are the Sunday roasts (as long you're hungry!) but make sure you book to guarantee a table. The Scones are the best I have had anywhere and always a...

My friend and I are visiting most Tuesdays for breakfast. Very dog friendly. You can order a sausage for your best friend. The best bit, you can order your breakfast just as you like it and than you pay per item. And if you go for lunch, try the sausage quiche. Absolutely delicious.

Wanted a traditional Sunday roast for my birthday. Had popped in here a couple of times for coffee and then read Trip Advisor. So, we booked a table. Very happy with the portions, quality and everything was cooked as we like. Didn't really have room for a pudding but it was my birthday... I went for the white chocolate cheese cake with raspberries and cream. Would recommend and look forward to going again.

We called in for a coffee and a scone, but when we saw the Sunday lunch, we changed our minds.

We are very lucky in this area to be well served with some fantastic eating establishments, however we booked for Sunday dinner at the granary, the meal was the best I've had very tasty home cooked food plenty of vegetables beef cooked to perfection, unfortunately it left no room for pudding but I did purchase some of the savoury scones for my Sunday tea. Very friendly owners just a great place to eat.

Fancied a bite to eat for lunch so my Mum and I came here for the first time. I had a delicious ham and cheese toastie and a pot of tea. My Mum had a sausage and onion chutney sandwich with a cappachino. We would recommend going there when you are next in Snettisham. Staff are really friendly and the place is quirky, it also has antiques upstairs. I would give the ham and cheese toastie 100%.

Have visited a couple of times and everything's been lovely however this time it was not good . A choice of only two cakes and caught over done scones which are usually really good! Apart from that 3over cooked quiches, so not much choice. Ended up leaving and going elsewhere for a lovely cream tea, won't be visiting anytime soon which is disappointing when we live so close :-((

I booked an afternoon tea for myself and my elderly nan. Unfortunately she has allergies, nuts and dairy which can make things tricky. Anyhow regardless Angie created a beautiful spread for us which impressed my nan. There was so much there we packed the rest up for her tea. Thanks Angie, my nan loved it and it made her day.

Went to granary with a friend very warm and friendly staff lots of snacks and cakes. We had coffee to start with a cheese scone which was sublime. Had a good look around then returned for lunch. We missed the all day breakfast but had jacket pots instead very satisfactory. The service in the Café is A1

We’ve visited this centre on numerous occasions over the past few years and have always received a friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. A coffee and gift shop on the ground floor. Excellent coffee and selection of hot and cold food, cakes and savouries. An antiques centre on the first floor with very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

When we stay at our static caravan in Hunstanton,we always visit The Granary and have been many times at different times of the day.Always experienced the same high standard of food, hospitality, and genuine warmth shown to the customers. The fruit scones are absolutely delicious.Mouth-watering! There is an authentic and sincere feel to the place which you don't always get, especially in some village pubs. They can be rather pretentious and 'cold'.The Granary is the exact opposite of this.A little gem just waiting to be discovered! Try it,you won't be disappointed.

Waited over an hour for food. We can see food up on the hot area, we received the food an hour and 20 after. One staff member did say it will be 20 minutes. We received the food, the order was wrong.

Very good value and lovely food and hot drinks. The main reason for my score was the friendliness of the proprietor. She made us so welcome and helped my mother with her mobility issues. We noticed there were several “ regulars “ who were also well looked after.

If you want to have your meal in a kids playground and don't actually want to listen to what your fellow diners are saying above the noise of small children hoovering the floor with plastic Dyson things and screaming all around you, then this is the place for you!! Really poor set up..all it needs is a bouncy castle in the room and you're well away!!! Have kids parties ...fine, but control them ?! In an area not right next to other diners who literally couldn't hear each other speak due to the screaming kids that the parents allowed to run riot! Food was average at best and v small portions for what you're paying... first visit and sadly the last for me

Newly taken over pub. The owner is very pleasant and the price is reasonable. Worth checking out
