Des the owner really cares about his pubs and his customers. He's been decorating them all to a high standard during lock down and is currently running a takeaway service in the Compass inn. I had the tagine and it was delicious, even better than the ones I had in Morrocco. Des is always welcoming and friendly

We have been visiting the Drunken Duck for months now as a location to have a drink about 1/2 way through a cycle ride. Friendly staff, good beers and get to watch some cricket occasionally. Just watch out for stray balls!

Fabulous Santas breakfast this morning. Food was great but the service and atmosphere was beautifully festive and couldn’t fault it. The team, Hilary, Georgina and Kim were wonderful and made our daughter feel very special. Will be back next year 🎄🎅🏻❤️

Horrible place for HGV drivers. Same old story, general public get to park on the doorstep while HGV drivers have to walk half a mile to get to the overpriced shops. HGV drivers are considered the backbone of the country, so why after a days work are we expected to walk half a mile in pissing down rain to get food and a shower….? ITS NOT ON
