Fuimos a La Mela con 6 amigos, y nos encantó! La comida era increíble, especialmente mi col rizada crujiente, hongos y huevo en masa madre. ¡En serio delicioso! Mis amigos también quedaron impresionados por el lugar. Acabo de mudarme a la zona, y esta va a ser definitivamente mi nueva opción - para el lugar para el almuerzo. La camarera italiana era una joya absoluta – súper amable, divertida, y realmente hizo que todo el ambiente fuera aún mejor con su personalidad extrovertida. El ambiente era precioso, y no puedo esperar a volver! ¡Máximas notas para La Mela!

Tuve las mejores tortitas que he tenido aquí el día de las tortitas (aunque están todo el año aquí - incluso hacen un reto de tortitas imposible)! Fue un martes por la mañana bastante tranquilo, pero se hizo sentir muy bienvenido por Bonesy (gracias!). Una verdadera joya de un café que recomiendo encarecidamente. Muy buen precio también!

A hidden gem, wonderful teas and fresh home made scones. Attentive courteous staff. Just like a tearoom should be. Excellent. Oh and real white linen.

A great Sunday lunch. We had the roast beef which was excellent with freshly cooked vegetables. Good service, comfortable seats and lovely atmosphere. Sure it’s at the top end of prices for a pub, but it’s worth the money. I felt the waiter and waitress really wanted us to have a good time.

Popped in for lunch - the staff were really friendly and the sandwiches were amazing and really reasonably priced

This is such a nice little place. Lovely staff, really pleasant atmosphere and the food was perfect. We only had tea and scones but they were lovely. The cakes looked delicious though-so we will definitely return!

Visited here for a sit down and had a panini and coffee and my wife had a panini and milkshake it was lovely as always Thanks guys much enjoyed and appreciated

Absolutamente excelente. El mejor desayuno de la historia. las porciones eran buenas y la comida muy bien preparada y servida. Cada uno tenía algo diferente y todo era fabuloso.

En un frío invierno la sopa de tomate casera de Leo estaba deliciosa. Si le dieran estrellas Michelin, esto debe ser lo mejor. Con el pan agrio casero este fue un gran almuerzo.

Visité con mi hija en nuestra búsqueda habitual del sábado para probar bollos dondequiera que terminemos. Este sábado necesitábamos visitar Darlington así que le preguntamos al dueño de una tienda local dónde estaban los mejores bollos y aquí fue donde nos recomendó. Pequeñas mesitas de café de un par abajo unos cuantos más arriba, pero visitamos antes del almuerzo y nos sentamos enseguida. Aunque era temprano no quedaban bollos de fruta, lo que fue decepcionante, así que solo conseguí probar el bollo de queso - chocolate caliente de lujo, pero no crema, así que hija un poco decepcionada Hicieron bollos calientes si se les pedía un bono tan bonito. El té estaba en una tetera que es preferible, pero era muy fuerte. Algo de agua caliente podría haber ayudado. Podría haber preguntado. Supongo. Smashing little place, absolutely what I need for healthy options and convenience why the hell would I bother cooking when I can just rock up and Tels done it all for me! Always lovely meal prep made to order. We eat in for breakfast once a week too and it’s just gorgeous. Don’t know what I’d do without tel and his South African bushbitch.
