Shame they have closed the smoking room so no nicotine but good for a hit of caffeine before having a crafty smoke behind the bike shed.

The Brooks Coffee Shop is the training venue at Northbrook Met College in Durrington for Students studying catering qualifications or for those wanting to work in the Industry. Sometimes the service isn't quite to the same standard (as fast as) you would expect in a Privately Owned Cafe but these students are in training. However with a little patience and understanding you will get a fabulously delicious quality main course hot meal (better than most Cafe's) with a drink for under £5

As others have mentioned, this is run by catering students of the College. I’ve always had lunch here, and always found the food good quality, not to mention very good value. Yes it’s a bit out the way, but on the plus side there’s free parking and it’s disabled friendly, with lifts and automatic doors.

Tucked away inside the college, up on the first floor, and run by the catering students, under supervision, this really is a gem! Lift access and excellent disabled facilities. Slightly off the beaten track but well worth a visit!

This is unusual in that it is part of the catering college and the staff are all students under supervision. Level access, disabled parking, lift to first floor.

We booked ahead as we knew it could get busy. We had a Thursday early evening for a few birthday drinks. The service was great, the barman was knowledgeable about the whiskeys and made suitable suggestions. The place is a lovely quirky little place, like a combination between a bookshop and a front room. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was also great. Highly recommended.

We discovered this little gem whilst working in the area for a short time. It's a cosy and welcoming atmosphere with well thought of features for visitors to the town. There are lots of food options from your expected cafe menu through to the owners Turkish traditional dishes. The drink menu is endless to and it is very accommodating to both vegans and vegetarians. I'm really glad we found Sourdough, and the owner is so welcoming and kind. Hope to visit again soon x

Delivery was 40mins after original stated time. Food was dry, overcooked and even my dog refused the inedible sausage! Never again. :(

Great brunch, we had a mixture of Bungaroosh breakfast, full english, and spinach and eggs. In the words of my mother "the best breakfast I've ever had"
