Stopped off for lunch after seeing the van on TicTok and was actually considering sticking around until I’d finished eating and ordering again. Sooooo good and a nice change from the usual greasy spoon van food about! I will be back and please visit but go early to avoid missing out.

An absolute gem of a place! The staff are amazing and the food is unbelievable. If you like Mexican food you won’t be disappointed! Definitely the best Mexican food in Belfast!

Just really disappointing I'm afraid. I never mind paying for good food but there was no flavour and it was dry. ordered the beef burrito bowl, tomato salsa was not a salsa ar all it was just diced tomatoes, the rice was sticking together in clumps and the beef had no flavour at all. I never want to talk badly about a local business in Bangor but something has to change here for the prices to be justified.

No volveremos.

Lovely and tasty food, but unfortunately no vegetarian options for lunch. I choose salmon which was well cooked with a lovely sauce with sundried tomato and spinach. There was no mixed salads to pick from for sides apart of the caesar salad ... They should cater for vegetarians too, even if the restaurant belongs to the butcher. The other meals look lovely too. Nice hot plates makes a difference for a good meal too. Very busy restaurant, clean , lovely atmosphere and the staff were attentive and helpful.

I've been ordering at Boojum religiously since 2010 (including an extended period of eating them twice a week for my lunch), and would have always sung its praises to anyone who would listen. It was always a real pleasure of an occasion, eating a Boojum bowl, day or night. I've eaten them in their hundreds over the past decade. But there cannot be any doubt, in my mind, that as prices have shot up, quality and consistency has dropped, and dropped sharply. Where once you didn't mind at all paying the prices because the portions were tasty and generous, it seems over the past 18 months or so a penny-pinching malaise has taken permanent root. Whether it's the toss-up of getting a decent portion or a half-filled bowl for your £9, or the order being wrong when Deliveroo bring it, or having to beg for more than a teaspoon of guacamole, or clearly seeing that the pulled pork portion is laughable when you pull back the lid, you really get the clear impression it is no longer about the food and experience anymore. It's about firing food out as fast as you can, and quality control being an afterthought. I don't just apply this to the Chichester Street branch, the Botanic branch has gone the same way. I don't have the heart to give Boojum a "poor" score overall, given the history of wonderful meals i've had. And you may go there and get the biggest, best bowl of your life. But i can no longer openly recommend it, not with the inconsistencies and price point.

Atrocious Service. We were brought out for Mother’s Day - 2 mothers, 1 mum to be , 1 child and 2 men. Had booked on website for 5.30. Kept waiting, no order for about 30 mins- asked twice. Only option was Mother’s Day menu though website said either that or the normal menu. Waited for sooo long our soup was cold- left on the pass for ages. Then our dinner was only ok and they forgot chips . Wouldn’t serve us desserts as they said the ‘microwave’ was broken - they proceeded to clear up around us so they wanted us gone. They didn’t offer us the free Prosecco or free kids meal at end of. They took of the service charge but nothing will get us back. It was the worst experience EVER. I tried to ring the manager after but he wouldn’t return my call. AVOID here.
