This is a beautiful bar, nice decor. Staff are very friendly and best cocktails I’ve had. They do nice platters that goes well with the drinks. Thank you for your lovely service Black Doors! Will be back again. 5*

Went in at 5.30pm on a Tuesday before going onto a concert. So glad we tried Lazzeez, service was perfect, food amazing and good value for money. Chicken skewers were succulent, served with a big basket of flatbread and salad. Highly recommended and will definitely revisit next time we are in Brighton.

Food here is delicious! It is so reasonably priced, we ordered 2x wraps, baklava and a pistachio and hazelnut chocolate cake (which was unreal) for just over £20 such good food at such good value. We return here often! Such a delight.

Tues 6pm 18/2/2025 - well within normal opening hours. Completely closed - no lights on anywhere, no explanatory signs up. Facebook page dead. Website dead. Email just bounces. Have to assume permanent closure until more info arises. Couldn't find any closure announcements in google searches. Normally an excellent restaurant and I didn't want to give a rating for this instance, but a rating is required to complete the review and obviously I couldn't give a high rating for a closed business!

We went out because I hurt my leg six weeks ago and I wanted to see if I could drive. So we picked the Marina for the free parking. We don't like Wetherspoons so we drifted into Aydo. It's nicely done out, and comfortable. The Muzak is just dreadful , tacky light jazz covers of Xmas songs, awful, and as we are musicians, it spoiled the experience. The place was almost empty so the waiter came over pretty fast. We could not drink alcohol because I was driving and my husband might have had to take over due to the leg. The waiter seemed irritated. I used to, on a previous career, write about the hospitality industry so I understand that alcohol and soft drinks are where the profits mostly lie, but we don't day drink anyway. We asked for water, I had to ask for it twice, he did not take it in. My husband had a seafood casserole which was excellent apparently, good ingredients and nicely cooked. We both enjoyed the rice and the side salad with pomegranate dressing, yummy. I had a 'steak moussaka' the steak was good quality but, where was the Cinnamon? WEIRD!! I have eaten in both Greek, Turkish and Middle Eastern restaurants in all those countries and France, where there's a great Lebanese Restaurant in Dieppe, but I've never had a moussaka with no Cinnamon. Another small gripe, I went to the loo and it took me a good five minutes to extract paper from the loo roll device as the roll was too big for it. These people were professional but not very friendly. I wouldn't go there again. They need to up their game: if there's one thing I know about Brighton it is fierce competition in the hospitality business.
