The best restaurants serving Japanese food in Bath and North East Somerset South West

What a wonderful experience! Large pots of hot water to enjoy the tea experience and an extensive choice of teas. The gyoza were SO delicious and so was the blueberry crumble, and healthy too we think, at a very affordable price! Would recommend everyone to enjoy this wonderful tea experience, you won’t regret it!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and great drinks! However, the small plates were very small for the price, and the scallops were not cleaned well.

Making you wait 15 minutes to then be turned down because they don’t have a table, even though they just gave a table to another group who turned up after us. Extremely disappointed .

The “Bath Landlady” has done a fantastic job at the pub. Was a pub with a reputation of Fosters lager, and some interesting people. Now it’s cool, with an excellent selection of drinks, it’s been stripped back and now feels like a proper pub, with plenty of live music and a hip clientele. This is the sort of quality food you long for in a takeaway. Totally authentic, healthy, delicious. Yes it sometimes takes a bit longer to get your food but good things are worth waiting for.

Probably one of the most reasonable priced value for money restaurants with very good taste and excellent portion size. The best sushi I ate in a while. Very fresh and good value for the real thing. Highly recommend.

Awful experience here today. Very poor service. Disappointing as we went for a family celebration as a treat and were horribly let down. Will not be returning.

Visited this evening while staying overnight in Bath and had a superb experience. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, they made some recommendations which were excellent and very accurate in their description. Had some miso rolls to start, crab and prawn, both were delicious. Had teriyaki salmon and lamb chops for mains. Both were beautifully cooked with wonderful flavours. The decor and crockery were all well "themed" and the result was a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend.
