The best restaurants serving Japanese food in North West

DELICIOUS!!!! everything was very good, we ordered 4 starters and one main and everything was immediately cooked , tasty and we are definitely gonna come back!

Visiting family and decided to try out Zumuku Sushi. We stopped in without a booking and they managed to squeeze us in. The tonkotsu ramen broth was fantastic.

The sushi is so good any other place is horrible compared to this place and I loved the steak. The show that you can get is rlly fun and interactive

Amazing experience & Juande was the absolute best host! 100% recommend food and atmosphere.. great food, very funny food show! Love the potatoes, fresh veg abd rice!

I am really sorry to they moved some where else.

Me recomendaron este lugar por mi gerente en el trabajo, así que mi pareja y yo reservamos para venir aquí mayo de 2024. Parece extraño donde se coloca, ya que está un poco detrás y con un edificio de aparcamiento, pero dentro de él hay un pequeño lugar peculiar. La comida es un poco cara pero muy muy agradable. El personal era agradable y amable y nos explicó cómo comer el cangrejo de concha suave como nunca lo habíamos tenido antes, estaba delicioso. Fue una comida japonesa encantadora y esperamos volver.

Great ramen place in Manchester with a classic westernised ramen. Love the fried chicken and the vibe.

Food was good but our night was ruined thanks to the manager who thought it was ok to rip us off for £20! Our bill came to £90.04. I gave my husband £90 of the £100 cash I had on me. He went to pay £90 cash and asked to put 0.04p on his card. The manager handed him the cash machine and it says £20.04? We advised him that we gave him £90 4x £20 and 1x£10. He says that we only gave him £70! Now we know for a fact that it was £90 as we always double check our cash. He then quickly says I’ve checked my till and it’s correct. It the quickest I have ever seen anyone check a till ever. Anyway we didn’t want to cause a scene and it’s only money at the end of the day, I hope he enjoyed spending our £20.

Standards are dropping sadly. When we first started coming it was beautiful, the sushi was served on dry ice and a stunning board, all tiered and presentation was 10/10. Last time their sushi came with roses as decoration then last night it was just sushi on a plate, really boring. Still tasty but we used to come cos it was something special but last night it was just average sushi to be honest. I know they do weekend offers now but we never go for these so we paid full price each time we have been but it really has taken the shine off it for us sadly.

In general meal here was okay and the sushi ordered was tasty and fresh. Sadly as the restaurant was cold and a few dishes were overpriced for the size it’s not somewhere we’d return to.

I feel bad for waiting so long to write this... after visiting on a whim with friends, I don't think I would want to go anywhere else to eat. The staff are amazing, we literally had our meals designed for us based on what flavours we liked by the amazing chef. The staff were so knowledgeable about the food they could offer, everything had a story and they made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. For anyone suggesting the wait time was too long, this isn't Mc Donald's, all food seems to be cooked from fresh and tastes incredible. If you want immediate feeding go to KFC, this is a quality restaurant and that takes time! The wait, which isnt an issue, is so worth it. Have a bottle of wine and a chat and you will be eating before you know it. My food was so delicious, so tasty and well prepared I just couldn't believe I was in St Helens. There is not one bad thing I can say. Very few tables so you feel looked after, and like you are lucky to be there. Just try it, you will not be disappointed, and the value for money is outrageous! You will be gutted your stomach cant hold more! AMAZING!!!!

I was really looking forward to our meal here tonight. As normal you turn up hungry but to be greeted with “there’s a bit of a wait because we’ve got a big order up stairs”, thought ok a wait will be 20 mins sounds ok. 60 mins later greeted with good sushi and substandard dry temaki. 25 minutes later our main course arrive, but which point dry fish (like chewing on cotton wool) and 85 minutes after walking g in anything would have done. Honestly thought about popping out to the Golden Arches to stave my insides eating themselves 45 mins in. If they knew there was a large order phone us and tell us can you turn up 30 mins later to stagger the kitchen…. Yep sounds reasonable. Left feeling significantly disappointed. Lots of apologises but nothing off the bill, no complimentary drinks, here you go full bill, a long long wait and left feeling bitterly disappointed. If you want quality food on time I’d honestly go somewhere else. If you’re unfortunate enough to be booked in have some snacks before turning up. On a positive drinks/cocktails delicious

La comida era muy buena. Se pidieron bebidas calientes pero salieron frías. El ambiente era pobre debido a otros comensales ruidosos con niños pequeños en los alrededores (espero esto en un pub, no un lugar como este). La decoración era preciosa. En general no creo que valiera la pena el dinero y no lo recomendaría.

Had my uncles 80th Birthday party here on Saturday night and even though the weather was rubbish the venue, food, service and overall was amazing. If I lived in Liverpool and needed somewhere for a party this would be the place. The bar prices was very reasonable and the staff were friendly and fun. Would recommend this place to anyone who is wanting a city centre party location.
