The best restaurants serving Japanese food in Newham London

Had prawn gyozas and teriyaki wings which were really nice, then went on with Chicken ramen which had a delicious broth. Had a good conversation with the chef and he seems a really nice guy who loves what he does. Would definitely recommend especially if you're local: it's worth the price.

Best place to order Japanese foods. Every items are fresh and delicious. Always recommend the restaurant. Hopefully visit again! 🍣🍛❤❤

I tried the gyoza miso ramen and it’s defo my fav (gyoza lover🥟😆). The portion was generous. The gyoza was boiled with smooth and slippery skin. The ramen was firm and thick while the broth was full of umami flavour. Katsu Curry Omurice is the most popular item and you can choose from chicken, shrimp or tofu. I chose shrimp which was crispy and tasteful. I especially loved the silky smooth omelette which paired perfectly with the curry sauce. Beautiful and flavourful 😍😍😍

Its a wagamama. Most of you will be familiar with this chain. Decent Asian (mainly Japanese, Korean and Malaysian) food at 4 star quality. A good "one cuisine" restaurant will have better food. Having said that, Wagamama ist consistent and really not bad. This particular Wagamama is actually one if the nicest I have visited. The service was great!

Muy decepcionado con nuestra comida de esta noche. Al llegar al restaurante vacío. El personal era franco y poco servicial. Ni siquiera hicieron bien nuestro pedido. Afortunadamente faltaron cosas porque dejamos toda la comida y las bebidas, completamente desperdiciado £ 100. Tampoco hay negociación con el restaurante. Los cócteles eran demasiado agrios y sabían a salado, el sushi estaba caliente, los calamares y las gambas tempura estaban empapados en aceite. Nos fuimos del lugar sintiéndonos muy enfermos. Realmente ha bajado colina ahora, no volverá. Es cuestión de tiempo hasta que el lugar cierre sus puertas.

I keep hoping things change but no……. Completely overpriced. They serve the ramen in a cardboard pot that’s too high to use chopsticks properly. The char sui is sub par. The amount you get is so much less than if you got a proper ramen bowl yet they want to charge you £13! It’s a rip off. AVOID.
