The best restaurants serving Italian food in Leith Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

If you're in the Leith area this place is definitely worth travelling to. Great service and great food. I would also go out of my way to go here just for the coffee. I'm a big meat eater so I was a bit hesitant when I saw the menu. I got the jalapeño popper + nduja and I was blown away. Side note: also had a lovely glass of white wine and I thought the wine glass it was served in was elegant and well thought out for the style of venue.

Reservamos este restaurante después de haber visitado antes con un amigo y quería ver si era tan bueno como la primera visita. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y nos llevaron a nuestra mesa por el camarero, siento no haber pillado su nombre. Pedido de bebidas tomado rápidamente para permitirnos seleccionar del menú a nuestro antojo. El pan y el aceite salieron con las bebidas que siempre pienso que es un toque encantador. Cuando salió la red la presentación era realmente bueno y generoso tamaños de porciones. Mi marido tenía lasaña, que dijo que era mejor que cualquiera que tenía en Italia hace 2 años! Los ñoquis en pesto estaban deliciosos y la foccacia de ajo era increíble, tan ligero. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra visita, bromas del camarero era brillante, la comida era deliciosa y el ambiente era fantástico. El restaurante es bastante pequeño, pero se siente muy acogedor. Si de vuelta en Leith visitando de nuevo sin duda volvería.

SHORT REVIEW: bland & greasy pizzas although cheap, imagine a homemade pizzas with no herbs then pour a pint of oil over it = Pizza Geeks. I wouldn’t recommend. Waiter should have some lessons in how to smile..very miserable lady.

Have stopped doing gluten free fish and chips. A backward step at a time when most places are increasing their gf offerings. Very disappointing.

Fuimos recibidos por Tara en un día de viento muy frío. Ella estaba muy ocupada, ya que era el único miembro del personal de espera en el turno. Nuestra orden fue tomada con prontitud, ella señaló que mi esposo necesitaba una comida sin gluten y más tarde aconsejó qué postres estaban hechos con ingredientes sin gluten. Nuestra comida estaba recién cocinada y muy sabrosa. Recomendamos encarecidamente Zizzi en Ocean Terminal, Leith. Gracias a Tara.

The manager (or assume it was anyway, as she was wearing different clothes to everyone else!) was seriously amazing. This woman needs a pay rise! We only went in for a quick bite, and the food was typical Pizza Express, but we left seriously happy, thanks to this person’s actions. Welcoming, friendly, helpful… made our day. Good views from the window too!

Excelente comida y servicio. Todo el personal era genial. No tuve que esperar mucho en la comida. Restaurante limpio también. Diez de cada diez.
