Best Pizza I have had outside Italy

Booked with my partner for birthday dinner. Staff very smartly dressed and attentive service. Starters arrived quickly which were very good( Calamari & Zucchini fritti) main courses arrived , Veal Tortolini and Seafood Risotto, both amazing dishes. I was made a fuss off as it was my bday with a written plate from the Kitchen which was a lovely touch. Pistachio Blondie dessert was to die for! Restaurant even called us a cab home. As an ex restaurant owner I’m particularly observant as to what’s going on around me when dining out. I can confidently say this restaurant’s food and service is faultless!

Real Italian food in a small intimate restaurant with a hospitable personal atmosphere

Lovely! Visited Montalbano without a booking, and the staff were SO helpful and accommodating in providing vegan-friendly dishes. Lovely to see an independent restaurant busy mid-week, clearly this is a popular spot :) Yummy food, yummy wine, wonderful service, thank you!

A very lovely place to have your dinner 😍

Nice little place that has a great atmosphere. It's based at Hove centre, and really easy to get to. We went for dinner on Tuesday night, and it was still busy. It's a good place to meet friends and family. We had a three course meal. The pizza was really tasty. We paid about 50 for two people, we shared a starter and dessert. Will come back and try other dishes.

It was a really great gastronomic experience. Thank you, Team Nino Junior. The restaurant was full, the food was delicious and the service was warm and wonderful. Highly recommended, especially if you're looking for a quality place to est and be, just off the motorway. We had supper there. You could also have lunch too, and if you visit outside these times, you could always benefit from Nino's deli opposite too; not least for the delicious ice creams. Undiluted thanks Nino for your exceedingly warm hospitality and for treating us to such a wonderful, authentic Italian experience.

A perfect lunch. Tried all the small plates and a main pasta dish. Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. Service was attentive, friendly and informative. I would definitely return.

Great food, wine & atmosphere! The wine was gorgeous and staff were very welcoming and gave great service. Will defo come back.

What a wonderful restaurant. Git a table at the last minute for my husbands birthday evening. Fantastic staff, could not do enough for us even pitting a birthday candle in our dessert! Wish we lived closer to enjoy this marvellous find!

Nice restaurant, good service. Pizza and pasta as well as starters were tasty and plentiful.

This place is superb the chef is magnificent he never fails to impress his sauces to go with the fish are out of this world. Scallops were cooked to perfection cod a marvel, Bass perfect. On top of this the service was brilliant.
