The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

Poor. Very poor. The quality of the pizza was low and arrived cold (the cheese had gone hard). Also had some chicken bites (nuggets), they arrived as hard as hockey pucks, I had to throw them away. Avoid. There are much better pizza places in town.

Never again will I order… £22 for a cold pizza and chips , was offered another but had to collect…. If I order food I expect it piping hot!! The cheese was hard and so were the chips. I’ll wait for my refund. All takeaways are like this now because drivers take multiple deliveries at once !

Best Pizza I have had outside Italy

Unpretentious and welcoming restaurant with great quality authentic Italian food. Would highly recommend. A rare gem in a town riddled with overly fancy and fussy eateries.

Absolutely delicious coffee, a nice calm atmosphere and friendly service.

The food was over-salted, to the extent that 2 of us (out of a group of 5) struggled to finish our food. Additionally, something in the kitchen was burning and the restaurant filled with smoke. Service was also slow and patchy. Very surprised by previous reviews.

Me and my Dad stopped here for some lunch yesterday and we are so pleased we did. First of all the restaurant is so cute / beautiful, we sat outside as was a lovely sunny day. They had a lunchtime deal, any pizza / pasta and a drink for £12.99 and we both opted for that, and a bruschetta to share (highly recommend the bruschetta). The food was UNREAL, real authentic Italian food, cooked perfectly. And to top it off the service was absolutely wonderful, the waitress and waiter were both super polite and efficient and gave service with a smile. But the (I’m guessing) manager/chef went above and beyond, he made us feel super welcome, checked on us and was simply a delight. We will definitely be returning and recommending to others.

Fabulous Sunday lunch here - a short menu of 5 mains, which I like. Tasty, hearty home cooked food and excellent service. Ancient Grains is a gem which we should treasure. If you want proper home cooked Sardinian food in charming surroundings at a very reasonable price, this is the place to go.

we went there for my wife's birthday and the service was absolutely fantastic only matched by the food the porchetta was superb as was the sardines starter and the choice for vegetarians was great I cannot thank the team enough for making my wife day so special

Such tasty, fresh food, and the best coffee. You can tell that real care has gone into it. I don’t think there’s a better vegetarian breakfast than this. Love the friendly staff too.

Good place to dine. Great variety of Italian dishes. Nice ambience. Very efficient and obliging staff. Only drawback for me as a Bluebadge holder was the large number of stairs to climb to get in!

Popped in for some lunch. My wife had ham and cheese panini, i had a bacon bap and we both had a pot of tea. Staff were friendly, pot of tea was good. Food was average. Both sandwich’s came with a few crisps. Loked like they had split a small bag of crisps between us. Panini could have done with a side salad for the price. Bacon was quite greasy and tasted like it had been microwaved. Overall nothing special. Wouldn’t visit here again to be honest.

Found this little cute spot in windsor. I had the chicken panini (halal) which was soo yummy and was complimented with some salad. Maradona (staff) is such a lovey lady, very welcoming place to eat and the outoor/indoor atmosphere is very nice.

I had never been here before A friend and her Daughter had So decided to go for Sunday lunch They had lamb I had beef. Well presented excellent food Loved the sweet as well

Good, tasty portions. However, we needed to ask for our meal to be reheated as it was lukewarm when served. After that, it was a delicious, home made like meal. I ordered chicken which was quite grilled outside but pink and red at places inside, so I just took that home and fried it. One of the men in there said nothing when we walked in, the other guy was friendly. One more thing to improve is the ventillation, it gets smokey, as there is an open kitchen.
